I stayed for consecutive nights. It was old but clean. The owner is always there to see you off, and when you come back, he greets you and welcomes you home, so it's like being in your grandmother's house, as it's either a building or an old private house.Bath: Used during Golden Week. It gets cold in the mornings and evenings, but the heating is on so it's warm even in the shower. The washing and changing areas are spacious.Kitchen: Everything from seasonings is available, so you can cook your own meals. There is a supermarket and a roadside station within a 10-minute walk.Living room: Large. The air conditioner was on, and the rice balls were on tatami mats.Other: Close to the bus center. There are lots of common spaces. I was able to spend time as I wanted, chatting with the owner and fellow guests, and enjoying time alone.

I stayed here with my fiancé for a couple of nights and we had the best time! Asuka is the best, she gave us some fantastic recommendations for the area and pointed out where everything was. Staying at her place really felt like staying with a friend, everything is so comfortable and welcoming. We absolutely loved Takachiho and will definitely stay with her again when we visit again! We booked through Air BnB.

◎Probably the 4th time◎Enjoying freshly brewed coffee on the sofa on the second floor while feeling the morning sun rising from the east is the best. The old sofa is comfortable. The landlady loves the inn, so every inch of it is sparkling bright lol If you come to Takachiho, you have to stop by 🌸✨◎Second stay◎Have dinner and breakfast. Takachiho rice terraces cooked in clay pots. It's delicious when served with scorched rice. In the morning, enjoy a simple and comforting traditional Japanese breakfast of fried eggs, miso soup, and stews. At night, we all have fun cooking pots, stir-fries, and bringing souvenir side dishes. You can enjoy home-cooked meals using Takachiho ingredients ^ ^◎1st stay◎The old building has been beautifully renovated. Is it Yoshimoto who is extremely bright? ? Perhaps the specialty is the hostess who is so funny that you might mistake her for it.The house is really clean and you can feel comfortable spending your time there. Recommended for women traveling alone. And we recommend staying for a long time, not just one night ^ ^

A very warm and comfortable small hotel. The main point is that it is very clean. There is a kitchen where you can cook. It is so happy to sit at the kotatsu table to have dinner and drink sake. The boss is very kind.

This B&B was renovated from an old hospital. It has a kitchen that you can use, and the bathrooms and toilets are clean and tidy. Every little place was built bit by bit by the proprietress herself. It is obvious that the proprietress loves this B&B.It is highly recommended that if you come to Kyushu, whether you visit Kyushu clockwise or counterclockwise, you can arrange a night here.

This is a very homely inn that is a former hospital that is loved by the locals and has been renovated into a guesthouse. Clean bedding, spacious common spaces, and the warm and casual care of the young hostess. I usually stay at a hotel, but I also met some unexpectedly wonderful people, making it a very memorable and soul-cleansing trip. I would like to stay there again someday!

Wonderful guesthouse in a good location. Supermarket a few minutes walk away and bakery next door that opens in time for breakfast (7am). Owner is amazing - brewed some local tea for us, helped me make a phone call in Japanese, explained everything there is to do in town… on top of that the building is nicely done up and the room was very comfortable. It was a delight staying here

2022.10.22 (Sat) Accommodation.I was looking for a place to stay in Takachiho and this trinity took care of me.When I arrived after dark, the place wasIt is difficult to understand, so please be careful.Although it is a guest house, it is clean and comfortable!Complete with bathtub and kitchen.The owner is also very kind.I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused by coming home late. Even when we went to Kunimigaoka to see the sea of clouds, they saw us off early in the morning.The next day, we visited Amaterasu Railway and Amanoiwato Shrine based on the spots you introduced us to, making it a very fulfilling day!My friend is also very satisfied (lol)One night and two days is not enough to visit Takachiho.We look forward to serving you again when you come to visit us again.thank you very much!
