I'm traveling around Kyushu for two weeks after I retire, so I've stayed at a variety of business hotels and first-class inns, but the cost of staying was the third from the top, and the food wasn't particularly spectacular. , There is no hot spring, so it was only the food that would have given it a high rating, but it was a shame.The scenery was beautiful and there was the sound of cars passing by, which was also a shame.

Auberge on a small hill in TakachihoSmall structure with 6 rooms and dining roomI guess the food should be called European cuisine.All beautiful and deliciousThe main dish was not bread but shiny rice and miso soup.A citrus fruit called Hebesu, which is a specialty of this area, is used in various ways to create a refreshing taste.The owner highly recommends HebesuI got Hebesu dressing as a souvenir.Large, clean rooms and delicious foodSimple customer service is also good.

This is a popular auberge that has been running for 39 years. The owner is a very nice person, and all the staff members create a pleasant time by saying, ``Let's do what will make our guests happy!'' The location is convenient for sightseeing in Takachiho Gorge, and I think it takes about 10 minutes to get to the boat pier. I was also happy that the bath and toilet were in the room.

If you want to stay in Takachiho, this is the place.Although it is a pension, it has a luxurious feel that is not a pension. I wasn't able to eat the meal this time, but due to my own circumstances...I definitely want to try the meal next time.The rooms are clean, the view is great, and it's right next to Takachiho Gorge. The owner is a very nice person 🍻 The bed is a Simmons bed and is extremely comfortable.

I don't know about the other rooms, but the toilet and bath were separate and the room was large enough for one person.I think it's a good place to use as a base for sightseeing in Takachiho. Recommended for couples.

very kind staff, a beautiful countryside location, easy access to takachiho gorge and kunimigaoka, and a comfortable and clean place to stay that somehow combines the welcome warmth of grandma’s house and the atmosphere of a museum for collectors. thank you!
