The building is of course magnificent and wonderful, but the various services are just as wonderful. We offer a full range of food and beverages, including an all-you-can-drink craft beer server, a high level of hospitality that takes care of the details so that you don't feel like you're renting out an unmanned building, and a separate bathroom where you can relax. There were 6 people staying there, and I have very fond memories of the time we all drank craft beer and had drinks until midnight.

The Densaemon family is a branch family of senior samurai that was founded in 1721 by the second son of the chief retainer, Yushu Ito. In 1852, Densaemon was appointed to serve as a representative of the Edo clan's residence. This building is believed to date from the early 19th century. The Ito Denzaemon family is mentioned in a castle map from around 1841. You can see what it looked like as a modern samurai residence.

April 21, 2022: The former samurai residence has been renovated and turned into a villa (hotel), and has been completely renovated to accommodate overnight stays. I only took pictures of the exterior while touring, so I gave the star rating based on the nice exterior. Looking at the homepage, it looks like everything has been cleaned, including the bathroom. For breakfast, go to Gallery Kodama, a famous restaurant in Obi. In the evening, we will have dinner at Ichino. In particular, Ichino is a restaurant that is difficult to get reservations for, so I think it will be a fun way to enjoy your trip.In the future, it looks like they will be adding more lodging facilities in a similar format to Obi Town. The facility, which serves as an old private house, is currently closed.I'm looking forward to it, but I also want to preserve as much of the old-fashioned building as possible.

Old house with tiled roof, designated as a cultural property by the cityThe building is said to have been built in the mid-19th century, but it had the most cutting-edge construction seen in later Obi houses. This is not a reconstruction, but seems to be the original building. It is the venue for the Obi Hina Hina Tour.
