It is very much like the house of grandpa and grandma in the country. It has a lot of space and the children are very happy. It is not as clean as a hotel. The equipment is older and there are mold spots in the bathroom, but we can accept it and think it is great. It is very relaxing to live in. It is very close to Takachiho Gorge. Near, would like to stay again

The house is very spacious: with a kitchen and several rooms, and it is located in an exceptional place.The owner was very friendly and waited for us upon our arrival to give us the keys to the house.We are very happy to have been able to stay there. Despite the cold outside, the house is prepared with air conditioning.You can cook there, which is what we did one of the nights, as it is very convenient and the area is very quiet, just make sure you go to the supermarket early.We stayed for the night of the yokagura festival and we loved it.The terrace is huge, it's a shame that due to the cold it was not very pleasant to be outside.

This place can cater for big and small families . It is a Japanese minshuku that have kitchen , living room , bed room and tatami room . They also have big compound for BBQ and free parking lot for those who are driving . Just a few steps away you will find the entrance trail to the Takachiho gorge and for those who cannot take the trial of steps , I think there is a bus stop next to this Minshuku but please verify . Takachiho shrine is about 650m away .

Awesome whole Japanese style house! There are tatami rooms, small living rooms, kitchens, large bathrooms, toilets, double bungalows, and a super large yard! Parking is also free! This is the largest house I have ever lived in in Japan!Right at the Takachiho Bridge parking lot, you can walk to Takachiho Gorge for boating and eating on the flowing water!The overall stay was great, and the boss was very kind!Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the bathroomYou need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste! Comes with towel~The washing machine is in the bathroom, so garbage must be sorted!There are darts to play and rocking chairs to lie down on!The refrigerator needs to be plugged in by itself!It is recommended to buy food before checking in, because the area will get very dark after six o'clock. To buy food, you need to drive out to a convenience store near the shrine!The advantage is that the accommodation environment is very quiet and quiet at night. There are just some small bugs, but this is normal in the mountains!The overall stay was great! !

My only concern is the wifi. It was slow. Then again, if your purpose is to go on a nature retreat and disconnect from an ever-wired Japan, this is the perfect place to be. The flat has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and dining room, a bathroom with a tub, and access to a veranda for barbecue and outdoor eating.
