A beautiful hot spring inn built facing a clear stream with a waterfall. In addition to the large bath with a view of the waterfall, there are several other baths, including an open-air bath. The service is also good. It's well-cleaned and feels good. The food is delicious, but the menu requires some effort. I would like to stay at this quiet and wonderful inn for adults.

This is an inn that anyone who introduces it to will be very happy. For me, it is a hot spring inn that I visited many times with my late mother, and it is filled with many fond memories. Your concern is amazing. It will heal your heart. I can't tell you how many times I cried when I was greeted with "Welcome home"...This is an inn that I will cherish forever.

The birthday plan was the best deal, so I stayed in my birthday month. (Using Jalan's 5,000 yen coupon, about 19,000 yen per person for 3 people)It was a wonderful stay with all 6 baths. It was a hot day in mid-September, over 30 degrees, but it was a little cool because we were in the mountains.【access】Take the bus bound for Sawatari Onsen from Nakanojo Station (please note that there are very few buses) and get off at the nearest bus stop to the inn, ``Hanashimoguchi''. A shuttle car followed right behind the bus we got off from, and it took less than 10 minutes to arrive at the inn along the riverside road. After arriving, several Nakai-san greeted us.[Inside the building/rooms]It was raining on the first day, so the inside of the building was a little dark, but it was clean and had a luxurious feel. The room that the Nakai showed me was a 12 tatami mat called "Azami" and I could see the waterfall from the room! It was a very nice room that was spacious, close to the bath, and had a toilet and washbasin, amenities such as body cream, and a hair dryer. However, I was disappointed that the towel rack was very small. It was about the size of one person, so I couldn't dry the bath towels for three people. Also, the Wi-Fi signal was not stable at all, so I guess it's better to assume that it's basically unusable. It may depend on the room.【hot spring】I think the best part of this inn is the hot springs. There are six baths in total, two for men and women, and two for private use. The men's and women's baths change at 7pm, so I spent most of the time taking a bath, so I didn't have time to relax in my room. lolEven my grandmother, who was satisfied with taking a bath only a few times, had never taken a bath so many times before. When you think of this inn, you'll be most impressed by the stained glass large public bath, but there are other baths with a waterfall view, and a cypress bath with the scent of wood, all of which were wonderful. .The turtle that was the key to the private bath and the wooden animals lined up at equal intervals around the edge of the wooden bathtub were also cute. I felt the craftsman's playfulness. The hot water is clear and colorless. It seems that the water is being heated because the temperature of the source is low. Although I prefer lukewarm water that allows for a long bath, the water was at just the right temperature, not too hot or too lukewarm, and felt comfortable.【meal】We had our meals in a large private room. It looked and tasted delicious. Some people said in the reviews that the portion was small, but I was usually full. Some young men may find it a little unsatisfactory.(I'm embarrassed to say that one of my companions doesn't like seafood, so when I told him that in advance, he changed some of the dishes to sashimi konjac or meat. I'm grateful.)Anyway, it was the best two days of soaking in hot springs.Thank you for your help.

The hot springs were colorless and odorless, and the changing rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and the amount was just right for a man in his 50s. It would have been even better if there was a vending machine and you could drink draft beer.

When I first heard about Tange Onsen Misatokan in an article on the internet, I immediately fell in love with its large stained glass bath and immediately made a reservation. There are two famous hot springs in Nakanojo Town, Shima Onsen and Sawatari Onsen, and this Tange Onsen is a hot spring located at an inn located between them.Apparently there was talk of building a public bathhouse to promote tourism due to the hot springs, but this inn was built by the president of a local construction company.Previously, it seems that there was a road running through the area, and people had to go outside once to access the open-air bath, but I was surprised to hear that they had detoured the road and expanded the building. Also, the space in front of the building was apparently a bush, but it was carved out and turned into a park and parking lot.By the way, in case it snows, they seem to have their own snow shoveling vehicle, so you don't have to worry. To access this ``Tange Onsen Misatokan'', if you do not have a car, there is a shuttle service to the bus stop located 20 minutes by bus from Nakanojo Station. This time I went by train, so they picked me up at the bus stop, but the inn was quite remote.By the way, the driver seems to be the company president, but he is younger than I expected. When I arrived, I was greeted by a Nakai-san, and when I entered the entrance, I was greeted by an impressive front lobby. As this inn was built by a lumber company with particular attention to detail, the reception area is filled with wood that was sawn by Mr. Hayashi, one of Japan's leading woodturners, creating a space that cannot be imagined from the photos. There was also a space for displaying crafts made from wood. The room is a simple Japanese-style room, but there is a kotatsu (horizontal kotatsu) by the window and the roof in that area is sloping, creating a relaxing space. The windows are large and you can look down on the beautiful stream, and there is an open wash basin next to the horigotatsu, and there is also a window in the corner so you can see the stream. There is a toilet in the room, but the bathroom and shower are shared. This time, my goal was to enjoy the hot springs, so I visited all 6 baths. It's a little hard to understand on the website, but to put it simply, the largest indoor bath with stained glass is called Seon no Yu.In front of it is an open-air bath called Tsukimi-no-yu, and in a separate location is a private open-air bath called Hosen-no-yu.Hosen no Yu also had two open-air baths, one a rock bath and one a cypress bath. There is no reservation required for this private bath, and you can turn the bill over and take a bath whenever you like, and it is free and there is no time limit. There were two indoor baths underground, and they were called Takimi-no-Yu.Men's and women's baths will change at 7:00 pm for Seo-no-yu and Tsukimi-no-yu, and men's and women's baths will change at 7:00 for Takimi-no-yu as well.In the first place, I made a reservation because I wanted to take a bath with stained glass, and of course the ceiling of the bath with stained glass was higher than I expected and it was wonderful, but unfortunately I couldn't go in when the sun was shining. Therefore, I couldn't see the scenes with a fantastic atmosphere.Personally, I liked the private open-air baths, each with its own flavor, but the one with the cypress smelled better.I think it's probably very nice in seasons other than winter, with plants and autumn leaves. However, all the baths have a view, so I thought it was amazing that there were no so-called misses.Meals were served in a restaurant, but in a private room.I had eaten too much at lunch and was worried about whether I would be able to eat it, but dinner wasn't that voluminous and was just the right amount. It was a cute container in the morning, so it was delicious. There are 18 rooms at this inn, and the staff are all very personable and responsive, including a quiet president, a landlady with excellent communication skills, a daughter with an impressive smile, and an aunty-like waitress who can talk about anything. .In particular, my companion forgot his contact cleaning solution, but the hostess personally lent it to us, which was very helpful. On the way home, I received a handmade wooden keychain. If you would like to see a video introduction of this inn, please search for ``Tomari Report'' or the name of the inn on YouTube.

Neither an old folk house nor a modern hotel, this is a hidden hot spring inn with a unique atmosphere. This is a member inn of the secret hot spring protection association. The good thing is that the baths and hot springs are wonderful. The hot springs are calcium sulfate hot springs and are colorless and transparent. The large communal baths (indoor bath and outdoor bath) and private open-air baths (2 locations) are spacious and well-maintained considering the number of rooms. All the baths felt clean. The private open air is large enough for 4 to 5 adults. However, the indoor bath is hot (around 42-43 degrees), and the outdoor bath is lukewarm (around 40 degrees). Outdoor bathing may be difficult for people who don't like lukewarm baths. I stayed here in late December, and other than the indoor bath with stained glass, the changing room and washing area were very cold. I wish they would at least put a heater in the open-air changing room.Second good point. There are plenty of amenities in the large public bath (indoor bath) and in the room. Facial cleansing/healing gel (collagen), lotion/emulsion (hyaluronic acid), moisturizing cream (horse oil), and exfoliating gel are always on hand. Men and women can also use the indoor baths, as men and women change places at 7pm.Third, the Japanese-style room (Hanamizuki) with an open-air bath is wonderful. In particular, the open-air room here (you can enter while looking at the river and waterfall) is very soothing. At night, the bath is dimly lit and has soft Japanese lighting, creating an indescribably elegant bath. This open-air room alone is worth the stay. It was the best open-air room I've ever had. There is beer and soft drinks in the refrigerator in the room.I guess the food is average. It was delicious and made sure to be locally produced, but the quantity may not be enough for young people.I have no complaints about customer service. When we arrived, they immediately came to our car and carried our luggage. He explained everything in detail in the room. There is no coffee service at the inn, but overall our family was very satisfied. So I am planning to visit again in the summer or fall.
