The building is a little old and the atmosphere is a bit like an old resort hotel, but even though it is old, it is well-maintained and has a clean feel. The hot springs are circulating, but the water is smooth and the quality of the hot springs is not bad. There aren't that many guest rooms, so I was able to relax in the public bath without it being crowded. The view from the seats, restaurant, and public bath is great, and you can see the ocean. The staff were not as smart as you would see at a famous hotel, but everyone was very kind and warm, and I was left with a good impression.

Niigata, Kakizaki. This is a former public inn that you can tell at a glance from the building and interior. Good cost performance. All rooms have an ocean view facing the Sea of Japan, and there is an open-air bath with a view on the 4th floor. The spring quality is sodium chloride spring near the sea, and the spring temperature is so hot that you will sweat profusely after taking a bath. It's nice to be served fresh seafood at a restaurant. Yoneyama looms on the mountain side, and you can take photos of the splendor of the sunrise over Yoneyama from the port of Naoetsu.Magic hour, the sunset over the Sea of Japan during dinner, is a must-see. Depending on the weather, you can even see Sado in the distance, and the best location will spread out before your eyes. The Niigata local sake to go with the meal while enjoying the view was delicious and perfect, and I'm glad I came so far by car from the Kanto region. The sandy beach below the hotel is filled with fishermen doing shore jigging with surf casting and long-distance fishing (known as Kakizaki's emerald pink), regardless of rain or shine. It seems that you can also target large mackerel (flounder), and schools of bluefin flatfish migrate to the shallows in the morning. The sea, the mountains, Kakizaki is a truly wonderful destination.Definitely recommended. I went to a hot spring for a day trip with my best friend from high school, whom I hadn't seen in a while. 11:00-15:00. Room fee: 4,400 yen including bathing fee. I think it's cheap 😊 For lunch, I had a luxurious seafood bowl and a soft sauce cutlet bowl at the cafeteria. It was delicious 💗🥰
