The interior was nice and clean, probably because it was recent.

Alpha One is my regular lodging, but this is my first time staying in Joetsu. When you look from the front road, there is a parking lot in front, but the parking lot is a little further down from there, and the front desk is also there. It looks like it's semi-underground when viewed from the road, but it's actually on the 1st floor. The Alpha One has been renovated and has an open feel at the front and is quite clean inside. The reception at the front desk was quicker than other Alpha Ones, and "hot and cold towels," which is usually the last thing you'd be asked for, was the first thing you asked. I don't know the details since I haven't been walking around, but it seems like there aren't many convenience stores or restaurants near the hotel, so if you're going to stay in your room, it's probably best to prepare in advance.

About 10 minutes walk from Naoetsu StationThe exterior looks historic, but the rooms are very clean. We also have Wi-Fi and a machine to press pants.I was single this time, so I don't know anything else about it, but I felt it was very good for business or solo travel. The customer service at the front desk was good, and there were some technical intern trainees (?), and I saw them working hard, and I wanted to support them.

I was traveling by car, so I was grateful for the free parking. It was a smoking room, but it didn't smell that bad.I saw a review that said the bathtub was spacious, but the shower curtain was too far inward, making it feel small. As for the water drain, the filter clogged quickly, so when I was using the shower, water would accumulate immediately, which was unpleasant.Breakfast was buffet style and everything was delicious.

The parking lot is flat and spacious, so it's convenient to go shopping after checking in.I like the music when I turn on the TV in my room because it makes me feel lonely and like I'm on a journey.

It is a slightly inconvenient location, with the nearest station, Naoetsu, about a 15-minute walk, convenience stores in the surrounding area about a 5-10 minute walk, and restaurants being sparse. I learned later that there is a service where the hotel pays for the taxi fare from the station to the hotel. In addition, the izakaya attached to the hotel seems to be open until quite late (until 11:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 10:00 p.m. on other days). The facilities are still clean, easy to use, and fairly spacious. It's not suitable for people who want to walk around after checking in, but considering the price, I feel like it's something like this.
