It's close to Takasaki Station and is a pretty good place to explore the area around the station. Although the building is old, it didn't bother me personally. Breakfast is buffet style and very satisfying! Accommodation costs were also reasonable.

The room is small as expected. Well, that's a good thing because it went as planned...I chose this place instead of going to another cheaper place because it said ``no smoking'', but when I entered the room, it smelled like cigarettes. Which room is a non-smoking room?Breakfast is free, so I'd give it a little extra ⭐️, but since I don't like smoking, I don't think it's a good idea.

The buildings and facilities are old and I was surprised at first glance, but the prices are reasonable. The room was clean and we had curry for those leaving early in the morning, a delicious buffet breakfast, free drinks, and tea service in the evening, so we had a relaxing stay. In the evening, we went out to eat as there were many delicious restaurants nearby. There seem to be a variety of people staying here, including families, young friends, and solo travelers.Thank you for the meal. Thank you for your help. 🍀

He was calm as usual that day. His mission was to infiltrate the concrete jungle inconspicuously. The inn, located in the corner of an old building, was ostensibly just a business hotel, but for him it was a base from which to carry out his missions. The moment he stepped into the hotel lobby, he instantly grasped the situation. The cleaning is thorough and the rooms maintain a sense of cleanliness. However, as a discerning man, he soon notices the dimness of the hallways due to its age, which reminds him of his many past missions. Sometimes the darkness is your friend, and sometimes it is your enemy. He took careful steps. When I arrived at the front desk, there was a woman standing there with a soft smile on her face. Her careful explanations and warm response eased his wariness slightly, but his calmness and determination to accomplish his mission remained unwavering. "Thank you for your help," he thanked her and etched the information into his mind. However, he soon realized that there was a lack of information within the building. I can't find a map or facility guide. Everything is unclear, including the number of floors where vending machines and laundromats will be installed and the shortest route to the station. Is this a coincidence or intentional? He instantly formed a hypothesis. "If this is truly a safe place, it wouldn't be surprising if detailed information was provided."Welcome drinks were prepared near the reception on the third floor. Although he was surprised by her presence, he picked up his drink. However, the small size of the cup and the one-cup limit per person made him internally dissatisfied. "Either we conserve resources or..." He frowned slightly. That night, in the darkness of his cabin, he reviewed the details of his mission. On the surface, the price and facilities are perfect in front of the station. However, if you spend more money, you can get the luxury of a tourist hotel. he thought calmly. "Given the nature of the mission, this hotel is perfect. However, a more luxurious hotel would be too conspicuous."The next morning, he thanked the woman at the front desk. "Thank you for your kind and courteous response." His words contained not only an outward expression of gratitude, but also a sense of satisfaction as he was convinced that the mission had been a success. He checked the facilities and information inside the building one last time, and prepared to head out on his next mission.Although he was a cold-hearted professional, no one could see through his brief glimpses of human emotion. He disappeared into the concrete jungle again. The hotel was just part of his mission, but it certainly became a memorable place for him.And he thought. "Next time I visit, I'll get a map of the museum."

Although it's old, the cost performance is good and the service is good, so I don't think there will be any problems if you think of it as just a place to sleep.

I used it on a business trip with the no cleaning plan. The exterior and common areas such as the elevator are old, but the rooms are very clean and have good facilities. I think it depends on what people are looking for in their stay, but I had no problems staying there and was comfortable. The staff were very kind.Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but there was enough variety and it was delicious. Also, on weekday nights, there was a late-night snack service with Ochazuke, which I took advantage of. The freshly cooked rice was very delicious. The location was very convenient as it was close to Takasaki Station and a paid parking lot. Overall, I was very satisfied and glad I stayed.

Deterioration over time is noticeable. Not only is everything outdated, but the elevator shakes when it stops, which is scary. The sign inside the elevator that says ``Please use the elevator with fewer people than the number of passengers allowed'' makes me smile. Furthermore, this elevator can go directly from the entrance on the first floor to the guest room floor without going through the third floor where the reception is located, so there is a security problem. This may only be in some rooms, but the ceiling above the bathtub is low, and people over 170 cm tall will have to bend over to take a shower. It feels like some areas have been left unresolved without major capital investment, but the toilets are equipped with hot water washers. Having an air conditioner in each room is also a blessing during the changing seasons. In addition to free breakfast, there is also a free late-night snack (ochazuke). This is the first time I've seen alcohol served at a free drink bar.Although it's worn out, it's not filthy, so if you can look past the bad parts and see the good in the good parts, it's not a bad place to stay.
