I chose this place because it was right next to the shrine. There were socks in the amenities, but no body wash (sponge). The wooden door at the entrance to the room was partly frosted glass, so it was a little scary to see through it.It was a small, square, light blue bathtub that looked old.A hair dryer can be borrowed from the front desk. The refrigerator was of the Showa era, including a type where you could write down what you drank. I felt that it was the perfect inn for adults who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time on their trip. Luckily, all of the guests were adults, so it was very quiet, and the food was delicious, both in taste and ingredients, which were gentle on the body.I was also grateful that they accommodated my allergies.Night Kagura viewing (charged) also includes transportation, and when I returned to my room after the night Kagura viewing, there was soba zenzai. There were souvenirs available for breakfast, such as abura-miso (with shiitake mushrooms) and soba zenzai, which were very delicious.I was happy that they had gluten-free items, so I bought a variety of souvenirs to take home.

Stayed here with my wife in early August.Reserve a Japanese-style room with a bedI was surprised at how luxurious the room bath was!It was clearly an old room that had been renovated, butThe room was clean and nice.Plan that includes dinner and breakfastIt's an old building, but I could feel that they were really working hard to make their stay comfortable.Every room smells goodThe key was very difficult to open and close, which was a minus.Level to be repaired immediatelyDinner is also content that gives you a sense of hospitality. There are also local ingredients, and gratin and stew are also available. If I wanted to make it bad, I could do it, but I was satisfied with this one point. The beer was a bit pricey, but I was satisfied because it was served in the best condition. The food is generally blandBut everything is deliciousThis menu is really fun to eat while talking about how it tastes.More and more items came out for breakfast little by little. The white rice cooked in the oven was so delicious! The side dishes were all things that made the rice go well, so I was happy to have a full breakfast for the first time in a while. Please note that the parking lot is a little far away. However, when I parked in front of the car and unloaded my luggage, the maid immediately came to pick it up, which made me very happy.I would definitely like to stay again

Had a wonderful time staying at this family run ryokan. Very traditional style building which was old but did not feel dated at all. Service was wonderful and both dinner and breakfast was phenomenal, consisting of food cooked with all local ingredients.

I stayed in a special room, and the room had a clean toilet and bathtub, so I could take a bath without having to go to the public bath. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and filling. If I didn't check in too late, they would also show me around to Takachiho Kagura, which I really enjoyed.

The location is a bit remote, suitable for self-driving people. There is a free shrine parking lot next to it. The breakfast and dinner are rich and authentic Japanese cuisine. There is a bathhouse on the first floor, open from 6:30-23:00. The bathhouse is clean, the water temperature is hot enough, and the water volume is large. It is quite comfortable to wash.Although the room is a bit old, it is quite comfortable to sleep in. Hotel staff will make the bed during dinner. The price here is reasonable, it comes with two meals, and it is close to the Tianan River source. It is highly recommended.

Although it is located on the outskirts of Takachiho, it is actually possible to walk when visiting Amanoyaskawahara. There is a supermarket right nearby, and the attitude of the employees, the condition of the rooms, the baths, and the meals are all excellent and the prices are reasonable.
