2024.10.13-10.14Stayed here for climbing Mt. Makikiyama.The room is simple but sufficient for just sleeping.Good value for money considering the price.Wi-Fi is available, and there is also a communal refrigerator and kettle.

Update: Booking.com negotiated 50% refund.------Disappointing. Especially for people with small children.Booked through Booking.com. After non refundable payment, owner sent a message saying eating and drinking are strictly prohibited in the room. And we'll have to pay extra for using air-conditioner (same for using heater in winter).Booking.com showed Tea/coffee maker in each room which was clearly not true. Owner said this is the way it works in Japan. And that we should have contacted him in advance (which is again not true as this is the first time we came across this situation in 10 years of stay in Japan).Having a baby, who needs to be fed at odd hours, we had no choice but to cancel (in another review in Google maps, someone said he charged 14,000 yen for dropping water on the floor. So we couldn't take the chance). So we requested to cancel but the owner refused.Booking.com said it's between you and the hotel once booking is done. But they're trying to get at least half of the refund. Will update again.

3 season repeaterWe stayed at Hakkaisan, Ishiuchi, and Kagura ski resorts in winter and spring.You can use the kitchen, cooking utensils, tableware, seasonings, consumable wraps, etc., which is very helpful. It will be easier if you check in advance if you have what you need. There was a charge for the gas cylinder for the cassette stove.Accommodation costs are low, so amenities are available for a fee.Kerosene for heating is also available for a fee during the winter. Separate drying roomThis is a one-off operation by an elderly owner. There are 10 rooms, 3 floors of toilets and washrooms, and a shared kitchen.It's not as clean as a hotel, but considering the price, there's nothing to complain about.If you are particular about the details, we recommend finding another accommodation at a reasonable price.

Arrived at check-in time, contacted by email and phone but no response. After a while, the owner arrived at the inn, and I felt so bad that I just paid the money and went back to Saitama. It was a shame as I was looking forward to it.

This is an inn right in front of the Shiozawa Ipponsugi slope. It's very convenient because you can get into the accommodation right after skiing and the lift is right in front of you.

I stayed there the day before climbing Mt. Makiki.I arrived at 11pm and left around 4:30am, but it was a cheap place to stay, so I thought it would be easier to stay in the car and sleep on a futon compared to a day trip to the hot springs.I will use it again if I have the opportunity!

I came in July, which is not ski season. I called from in front of the inn, but the phone was not answered. I had no choice but to sneak into the inn and found what appeared to be the owner on the second floor, in the back right corner of the cafeteria-like facility, happily surfing the internet with ridiculously large headphones in both ears. There's no way I can hear a phone call! When I told him that I had called, he said, oh, there's a record of it! There are various restrictions, but I don't drink even a drop of water in my room! This is definitely an inn I won't be staying in the second time.
