Recommended for seniors and local old inn enthusiasts. Not suitable for couples or young womenfood is maniacMysterious ohitashi with horse meat, carp stew, and curry flavorNot very tasty...I want to eat a normal kaiseki mealI don't understand what the Chinese food staff are talking about. They say you can get water yourself, but if you ask the Japanese staff, they will bring it for you...No refrigeratorIt's centrally located so there's a lot of noise from outside. It is difficult to park in the parking lotThe road is narrow and on top of a steep slope. The woman at the counter is very kindGood location in the centerThere is a hot spring next door

The inn is an old inn located next to Oyu.The room was on the 3rd floor of a 4-story building and it was difficult to go up and down the stairs. There is also a Western-style toilet with a wide veranda on 8 tatami mats. I arrived in the afternoon, but I'm glad I was able to check in. The hostess's response is very good. The food is delicious and the quantity is good enough for me. I enjoyed the various wild vegetables and it was delicious. The baths are fed by hot spring water, and the Nozawa hot springs are very hot and you can't get into the bath without adding more and more water, but it feels good and relieves fatigue. The prices are also reasonable.

I stayed here with my sister for 3 nights. This was a lovely and incredibly beautiful place to stay. Our room was so beautiful with intricate design. We had a large balcony and could hear the rushing water. Room was incredibly spacious and could have fit more people, such as a small family. The location was perfect - right in the center of town and on path to ski slopes. The inn keeper is so kind and helpful. Loved the onsen located in the hotel, which was really convenient for times we didn’t feel up to going to the public ones around town (which are wonderful as well). We are so glad we stayed here. Don’t miss this charming spot! Good for couples, friends, or families! We so appreciate our time here. Thank you!

An old wooden inn located in a prime location at Nozawa Onsen. The room is old but moody, and the hot water is great, but you have to manually adjust the temperature of the bath, so if you leave it for a while, the bath gets boiling, and at that time, you can enjoy soaking in the hot water. The food was a little unsatisfying for me.

The inn is next to the popular Oyu Hot Spring and market. Villagers bring hot spring water to their houses and the water is so hot that only villagers can take an authentic onsen bath. The ladies at Oyu Hot Spring showed me how to take a bath and gave me the spot with a running cold water tap. In the early morning, my husband and I walked around the village, taking in the beautiful autumn views.
