We stayed one night in this hotel during winter - their low season. Although the hotel is quite old, it’s well maintained and clean. Staff are very friendly. The room was spacious and had a magnificent view of the Ocean. Both Onsen and meals are good. We had a very peaceful and relaxing time during our stay in this hotel.

A good option for bathing after the beach during the road trip.Unohama Onsen Royal Hotel Kobayashi is located in Joetsu and about 20 minutes on foot from Katamachi Station, near Myoko Highland and Koibito Misaki Cape. Free WiFi is available in each guest room. Yukata are available for guests to wear during their stay. Guests may borrow conveniences such as irons and hair dryers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilities include a communal bath, an open-air bath and a washing machine. The hotel possesses 43 guest rooms.

It was my first visit. I used it for swimming at the beach, and it was so close to the beach that I had no trouble parking in the morning! It was very convenient to have a shower after swimming in the sea and to have a direct entrance to the hot springs!Although the room is showing its age, it was clean and very comfortable!Dinner and breakfast were delicious, especially the rice! They also laid out futons for me, and even though it was a hot day, they had a pot of cold water for me, so I was very attentive!One drawback is that the elevator doors close very quickly, so children and the elderly can get caught if they are not careful. I would be happy if you could improve it! I want to go again!

It was a very nice hot spring.Thanks to you, my child did not catch a cold on his first sea bath.Thank you for your consideration.It warmed my heart and body very much.The indoor bath was a little warm and relaxing, and the outside bath was a little warm and refreshing, so I enjoyed it.It was convenient, with direct access from the beach to the bathhouse, and hot showers outside.

I used it for 2 days this time.It was my first time using the Royal Hotel Kobayashi, so I was a little nervous, but the room was spacious and faced the sea, so I was able to enjoy the spectacular view.It was quiet at night, and I was able to enjoy the large public bath and open-air bath without being crowded.My wife and I have talked about this and we would like to stay again when we travel next year.

Used for day trip hot springs.There are two indoor baths (one with the same source water) and an open-air bath.There was no sauna or cold bath, but it was clean, the hair dryer was free, and if you weren't particular about it, there were all kinds of amenities, including hair treatments that didn't require rinsing.Although the temperature is not so hot, it stays warm enough to keep you sweating for a while after bathing, making it a hot spring you'll want to soak in again.

It was a hotel with a retro Showa era appearance that reminded me of my childhood summer vacations.It was a summer vacation plan, and you can use the parking lot before check-in.At the entrance, you can use the air compressor for the float and the vacuum for air removal for free.It is 300 meters from Unohama Beach, and there are free showers and public toilets in the observation building at the beach entrance.It's a gravel beach rather than a sandy beach, so strappy sandals are a must.Also, when you come back from the beach, you can take a bath from a separate entrance before checking in! There is also a shower before the bath, so you can get clean.The bath is a hot spring sodium ♨.The abalone steak for dinner was delicious.This is a recommended inn if you want to play with your kids at the beach.
