Matsunoyama Onsen is where my mom and sister learned about radium hot springs from a radium hot spring professional while they were at Tochiomata Onsen. It is one of Japan's three major medicinal hot springs. As it is famous, it was a very nice hot spring with a strong medicinal smell. But the open-air bath was too hot for me to enter.I think the bath depends on how warm the person in front of you is.I only used the hand soap in the room once because it smelled like my uncle's hair conditioner. The renovation of the room was a bit strange. The inn's signature Toji Pork was disappointingly stinky. The appetizers and sashimi were delicious, so I guess there's a chef who knows but can't tell.I'm rooting for you, so I'll tell you to do your best.Everyone at the restaurant was very nice, but they seemed busy with a lot of work to do.I hated the many messages displayed inside the building.Only one in the toilet and one outside.I'm here to be healed. There are many other things posted on the wall, giving it the feel of a public bathhouse. The hot springs are really good, the food is delicious, and she does her best to serve customers, but her beautifully renovated room feels like home, and I'm tired of all the messages, so I feel like her hobbies are disappointing, but I'm not. I can't help it because I don't have it.But everyone seems to like it there.

This is the largest hotel in the famous hot springs area. The entire property has tatami flooring for a comfortable stay.

Barrier-free access to the building. The hot springs were warm. It smells a bit like petroleum due to the salt and mineral components, but it's natural.I was happy to receive popsicles, hot spring eggs, and local sake as a welcome after the bath.I was able to stay in a bigger room than I had booked. There was a souvenir shop and bar across the street, which was convenient.

The hot springs and food were both wonderful and I was extremely satisfied.Tsukimi-no-Yu was not available due to construction, but the public bath was not crowded and we were able to enjoy the hot springs slowly. The food was prepared using locally sourced ingredients and was truly delicious. My wife also praised it.I would like to applaud the head chef and everyone in the kitchen. It was an inn where the hard work of all the staff was evident, including the woman who worked hard to direct us to the parking lot and the elderly person who showed us the rooms and served the food.Next time, I would like to visit during the snow season. Also, this time I made a reservation through Rurubu, but for reference, when I looked at Rakuten Travel, I saw some negative reviews for some reason. This is completely incomprehensible. If you are unsure about making a reservation after reading reviews on Rakuten Travel, please consider that reviews on Google Maps reflect the reality more.By the way, I am not in charge of the accommodation. (lol)

I like hot springs. It's been since I visited before the coronavirus outbreak, but I had a comfortable time. It was a steak plan, but this time it was a bit smelly. Aged meat? I'm not very good at it so I was a little disappointed. The drink glasses also seemed to be getting smaller. . . I don't think it's necessary to maintain prices. The right amount at the right price is the best. The parking lot is now a self-parking system. There are parking spots that require skill. The Toji Pork is delicious, so I think I'll try that next time.

A kotatsu in a large room. I went to the kotatsu for the first time in a while. It was quite noisy with families, but it was quiet at night and I felt safe.Unfortunately, there is only one open-air bath, and men are not allowed to use it at night. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff's response was very polite and good.
