◎An old private house. It was a quiet place with a sense of hospitality.I enjoyed the service.◎Simple sulfur hot spring, 43.4 degrees source, guest room semi-open-air bath◎Japanese and Western creative cuisine. Enjoyed deliciously. Unusual dishes.◎Room: Warm and warm stay. Relaxing. Dining table was good. Bedroom on the second floor. There is no partition, so you can enjoy the space.◎An inn with a feel of Yuyimagura origins.I was left feeling satisfied.

I went by Shinkansen with my 91-year-old mother.★Room → It seems that an old private house was relocated, and the thick beams give it the feel of having traveled back in time. It is a spacious maisonette. The second floor is the bedroom, and the first floor is the dining room, living room, semi-open-air bath, and toilet. I was worried that it might be dangerous because my mother gets up many times during the night to go to the bathroom, but the stairs are sturdy so it's okay. With a wired tuner and two large speakers, I'm happy to be able to play my favorite music.★Semi-open-air bath → When you open the window, you can feel the open-air atmosphere and feel the breeze. You will feel luxurious as you soak in the thick hot water.★Meals → Breakfast and dinner, it was like creative Japanese food and was very elaborate. However, it was just the right amount for my mother, so it may not be enough for men.★Pajamas, samue, yukata, and bathrobe were provided and I used them accordingly. The refrigerator is stocked with vegetable juice, beer, tea bottles, and yogurt to drink on your doorstep in the morning. The staff's response was also pleasant. There was a wood-burning stove in the courtyard, and I sat on a bench in front of it and watched the flames slowly for a while. It would be helpful if we could pick you up from the station. A large massage chair was placed in front of a large window, and my mother sat in the best position to enjoy the view even without getting a massage. There are no insects like the reviews say, so it might be nice to be able to open the windows fully this season.▲No one under the age of 15 can stay, and it's not cheap. It may not be suitable for very young people, but one thing that bothered me was that there were no handrails in the toilet and bath. It is necessary for the elderly, but I wonder if there are not many elderly people.◎Overall, I was very satisfied. I've been to many rooms with open-air baths, but the comfort was among the top three.

Chanced upon this lodging online and it was one of the best I’ve ever stayed at. Service was top notch! The ryokan was so comfortable and it was fully equipped with everything a 5* lodging would have + more (amazing massage chair). The best part of the stay was having your own private bath onsen in the room overlooking the town. Perfect as a wind down in the evening. Would definitely recommend it!Ps: should you require food consumption onsite, do inform lodging at least 3 days in advance.
