The host, Seki-san, is a very nice person. He knows that every time I make a special trip from Himeji to Echigo for skiing, the opposite ski resort is not open on the first day due to weather problems. Seki-san proactively suggests and drives me to another ski resort, and he is on time. Come back and pick me up at the hotel. I am very grateful to Seki-san for helping me have a pleasant skiing experience.

I like this kind of old Japanese-style inn and bed and breakfast. Although it is not luxurious, it is very warm. It has all the necessary ski services. The food is delicious, especially the rice from Minami Uonuma👍👍. There are also hot springs nearby for bathing. Remember to bring your own towel.

I'm a repeat customer, but this is my first time posting! Right away...Room...It's a small Western-style room, but it's all you need. Although the building is old, the interior has been nicely renovated and has a clean feel. Cleaning is also done well. Feel calm as if you were in your own room.Meal...The so-called kaiseki cuisine! You can't expect anything similar to a ryokan, but it's generally delicious. It has the image of being an upgraded version of home cooking. Using local ingredients, you can eat to your heart's content. The bathroom...honestly, it's small. It's great because adults can sit facing each other and stretch their legs. 1.5 to 2 times that of a typical household. It's fine if it's in private, but if you run into other customers, you might be a little concerned. There is Kaido no Yu, a 10-minute walk away, and you can get a discount coupon, so if you're interested, go there... There's nothing you can do about it.Location...Specializing in winter borders, there is no better place than here! You'll be at the Mitsumata ropeway in seconds. This is the biggest selling point of this inn. However, there are no stores that are open at night, so buy snacks during the day.Customer service...full marks. This is why I am a repeat customer (lol) The owner is young, but he is a veteran of over 15 years. Since my family manages everything, I don't have long bath and meal times, but I don't feel that it's an inconvenience.Overall...please think of it as a local inn that mainly serves the border. The more people see it for the first time, the more negative it is, but what is the comparison target? is. It is not a resort or tourist center. The image is of a ``relaxing, homely inn''. This is for people who know how to have fun, such as reading manga when they're tired, or relaxing in their room and looking at the snowy scenery.
