I used it for an overnight stay in January 2023.I was a little worried after reading the reviews here, but it turned out to be a fairly standard ski hotel for the price.If you are expecting the same level of service as a luxury inn or high-end hotel, we recommend choosing a high-ranking inn in the surrounding area.If you're used to staying at inexpensive lodges, I think this is a place you'll be satisfied with.It is conveniently located right in front of the ski resort's ropeway stop, and the shuttle bus stop is also nearby.I can't deny that it has deteriorated over time, but I'm glad that the bath is a hot spring.I would like to use it again.

I was worried after reading the recent (2023) reviews, but it turned out to be a normal ski hotel. The customer service was particularly good, and I didn't have any bad experiences.It's close to the ski slopes, you can buy one-day lift tickets at the lowest price compared to other places, and you can easily rent them, so I think it's a good accommodation for skiing and snowboarding.

My daughter came back from Nagoya for the New Year holidays and stayed here.I was told that I was allowed to bring my own food, so I brought some sushi, yakitori, and drinks, and went to see my daughter, who was returning from Nagaoka with her partner, but we were told that we were not allowed to enter the room unless we were staying overnight. However, it seems that a friend came to see her the day before and entered the room...What's more, you have to bring a little...huh? Isn't it OK?The daughter staying with the landlady and husband communicated with each other.Somehow, I was able to come in for just 2 hours and was able to get together with my family for the first time in 3 years...Anyway, the attitude is bad... there's no communication with other people... it seems like it's a family business, but the idea that a family run business is homely and kind has been blown away.My daughter said she would never stay there again.Maybe I should have asked more details in advance...but that bad attitude was the problem before that.Early in the new year, I felt bad.

It's very convenient as the ski slopes are right in front of you and you can walk to the hot spring town. The slope itself is a gentle slope, so it's perfect as a base for teaching small children to ski.

There is a bus from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, but it's faster to walk than wait...I had a beer while watching the children's slope. | Rental skis and snowboards are cheap. …

This inn is located at the entrance of Yuzawa Kogen Ski Resort.I think it's about a 10 minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Station.It's a small inn with about 10 rooms, but it was very nice with restaurants and hot springs.The room was small, but the heating equipment was good and it warmed up quickly when I turned on the stove.Please note that you will need to draw your own futon.The toilets are shared, but there are several, and they are very clean, so I didn't have to worry about it.The hot springs seemed to open from 4:30 pm, and there were only 5 washing areas, which was small, but it was nice to have shampoo and body soap provided.Breakfast was also simple but very delicious.Fujiya-san sells ski equipment rentals and lift tickets at discounted rates, which was great for skiing at the ski resort right in front of us.Also, I think it was just a coincidence, but I was able to see the fireworks going off in the direction of NASPA at night.
