Rooms are beautiful. Service was bad, quite cold and unrepsonsive. How can no one is there to help you with luggage when you pay 500$ a night? I don't get that. In addition to not feeling welcomed, that oh-so-expected-after-long-walk dinner was sad. Food very very average for such high prices and I was still hungry! Sooooo disappointed ! The restaurant feels like a cafeteria with all dishes pre-prepared and counted for the number of guests. No specials, no extras. Not exactly what you would expect from a classy hotel.

From the service of the hotel staff, meals, exquisite furnishings in the room and the most natural scenery and wild animals, dining with wild deer when dining, and the hot spring options are diverse, you can take a private bath in the room, there are also public men's and women's baths and public baths Personal choices of soup houses all make people admire how beautiful this place is, so good that they don’t want to go home🤣

2024/10 visitFrom our perspective, it was a fairly priced accommodation, but we liked the room with a nice view of the trees and the Akan River, and the in-room bath where we could relax without worrying about other people.I was also grateful for the deer that appeared just in time for dinner.I didn't see them during the day, but there were quite a few along the river at night, so maybe night is the best time to hunt them?

The room was great, the view was great, and I could see deer from the room. However, I was concerned that the water flow in the sink was poor, so I would like to see an improvement.I have ground the coffee beans many times and enjoyed them.Hot springs are the best! There are also three private baths, so you won't have to worry about it.The public bath was reserved for most of the night, and the massage chairs were free, so I was able to relieve my daily fatigue. The in-house oil massage is highly skilled and satisfying.I'm thankful that the store is open 24 hours. The hot springs are good because you can only take a bath for about an hour from 3pm, there is plenty of hot water, and the bathtub is clean and free of dirt and grime.I thought that the shampoos provided in the baths would be more natural-based, such as organic ones, with gentle scents, which would suit the hotel. The quality of the food is not high, but since it's an affiliated hotel, I guess it can't be helped. Overall I'm satisfied.

I had a food allergy, so I was grateful that they were very careful in providing alternative food. There are three private hot spring baths and a separate large hot spring bath, so I was able to have a fun hot spring experience. I ate while looking at the forest, and it was amazing that I was able to meet a deer friend. We ate four meals over two nights, and the food was varied and very delicious. Snacks such as snacks and bean jelly were placed at the entrance of the restaurant, so we were able to eat freely. All the staff were really friendly. I really regretted not booking La Vista accommodation in Sounkyo.

I was allowed to stay in a room facing the forest. At La Vista, the staff's hospitality is extremely high and you can spend your time with peace of mind. The vehicle was carefully guided, and I was able to load, unload, and transport my luggage, which gave me an ``extraordinary'' and ``special feeling.''It seems like the owner is reading the reviews here, so I would like him to praise the staff. The rooms were well-cleaned and we had a pleasant time. It's also nice to have cider in the fridge as a welcome drink. Our room faced the forest, so we couldn't see the river, but although we couldn't see it while sitting, we could see it if we stood up.Although the large public bath was a bit small, the view of the forest and river from the open-air bath was soothing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and we were able to spend a special time overlooking the river. The check-out process was smooth and departure was quick.Although I have mentioned the good points so far, there were also some disappointing points.- Difficult to find the road leading to the hotel. It's hard to know where to turn when it's dark, so I thought it would be nice if they would install illuminated signs.・According to online reviews, Oshinogi is steamed seasonal ingredients such as potatoes and corn, but in reality it was onion croquettes and edamame. Since I came all the way to Hokkaido, I would have liked something that felt a little more like Hokkaido.・Lounge is not good. I thought it would be a bit unsatisfactory if it was just coffee and oshinogi. I would be happy if you could consider changing it depending on the time so you can enjoy your stay even more.・The door of the guest room is a little delicate. The door was a little thin so I could sometimes hear voices outside.・The open-air bath in the guest room is a little small. I could barely fit the two of them together.・The hot water in the open-air bath in the guest room does not get hot in the morning. When I turned it back on in the morning, it was about 36 degrees. It was so lukewarm that I couldn't get into it. I wish I had told them when I checked out, but maybe it was broken...and because I didn't tell them, the next day's guests might have been in trouble...・The door of the guest room's open-air bath is poorly constructed. The structure allows water to ride on the protrusion at the bottom of the door, so when you open the door after bathing, water will be sprayed into the room. Also, even if you lay out a towel to wipe your feet, there is no gap between the door and the floor, so it will get caught on the door and shift.・The cypress wood in the private open-air bath is rotting. The scent is gone and it's pretty worn out, so maybe it's time to replace it?・It is difficult to open and close the window of the private open-air bath. Maybe it wasn't slippery, but it wouldn't move unless a grown man pushed it with all his might. I don't think women would budge.・It is not enough to have only one pot bath in the open-air bath. I couldn't get in because the Chinese were waiting for about an hour, leaving their towels and glasses in the water, waiting for me to take a bath and then coming back.・It's hard to get orange juice for breakfast. Ice cubes stuck to the bottom of the bottle and I dropped some on the floor.・It's not that there's a problem with La Vista, but the voice of the mother who was talking to her child was noisy. It's okay for children to make noise, but it's painful when their parents make noise in a high-pitched voice. In addition to the above, I think it's the company's policy since it's the same everywhere at Kyoritsu Resort...・The temperature of the water in the private open-air bath is high. I think the temperature was set high to prevent the bath from taking too long, but it was a little too hot.・It's not good that there are two meal times, one from 17:00 and one from 20:00. The words "short for obi and long for sash" are perfect.Although I didn't have any complaints, I was still very satisfied.I'm looking forward to the day I can stay again.
