Listening to the sound source of rakugo by a storyteller born in the Meiji era, it seems that among the red-light districts of Shin-Yoshiwara, Inamoto was one of the three red-light districts known as Omise, which had the highest class status, along with Daimonjiro and Kakuebi. .Inamoto still operates several lodging facilities in the Yoshiwara area, but Hotel Inamoto recently opened along Yoshiwara's 250m-long main street, Nakanomachi-dori.

Stayed in the new building, Yoshiwara is right in front of you, the reception desk is just a call away, and if you're just staying the night, the room is clean and the bathroom has been renovated. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms available.

Overall, it's an average business hotel. It seems like the front desk is sometimes absent (?), but I didn't have anything to do during my stay, so it wasn't a problem. As for the location, it's a fair distance from the station, so it feels a little far if you're walking, but if you take a bus from Ueno and get off at Asakusa 5-chome, it's fairly close. There's a convenience store right next to the hotel, so it's very convenient. There are people hanging out, but they don't get involved, so it's harmless if you just use the convenience store.

I stayed here on my way back from a festival. When I searched on the internet, I was a little worried because I saw recommendations that said it was a haunted house, but it was cheap so I decided to stay there. When I actually went there, it was a new building built about three weeks ago, and it was very beautiful. Perhaps they realized that I was tired after coming back from the festival, so they delayed my check-out time, which was already late, even further. There was an old building nearby, so I might have to stay in an old building for the Japanese-style room, but I don't know about that.Although it was a little far from the station, I also visited Asakusa and the Sky Tree on the way home.

During the Yoshiwara red light district era, this place was Inamotoro. You can go to bed feeling the history and the love-hate drama between men and women.

You can choose between a Japanese-style room, a Western-style room, a non-smoking room, and a smoking room. ||It's an old building, but it's well kept, clean, quiet, and comfortable. ||All the staff are kind. …
