It's a 5-6 minute shuttle bus ride from Yubatake, so there's no problem with the location. The breakfast had a wide variety and was very delicious. The hot spring was also large and nice.

The first room I entered was so noisy that the children of the guests on the upper floor were jumping up and down, even after 10 p.m. I couldn't get a good night's rest, so I asked to change rooms.I was able to find a vacant room right away and was able to move. The response up to that point was good.Since I had booked a no-meal plan, it was natural that I would not be given a morning meal ticket at check-in, but when I changed rooms, the staff who guided me told me that since the room had changed, I would be given a facility voucher and a morning meal voucher again. Passed.I misunderstood this as an apology from the hotel due to the noise, but there was no explanation that there would be a meal fee, so since I ended up using breakfast, I ended up having to pay the hotel fee that I had already paid plus the breakfast fee.Without that ticket, I would not have used the breakfast buffet. In the first place, if you had properly investigated the customer's plan and provided guidance, since it was a plan without meals, the ticket would not have been given again, and there would have been no misunderstanding on my part.If the person in charge just hands it to you and says, ``Please take this too,'' the words are not enough and it can lead to misunderstandings. If you can't explain it and it costs money, I think it would be nice to have an easy-to-understand statement on the ticket saying that there will be an additional charge for customers on the non-meal plan.Above all, if there were no noisy guests or if there was better soundproofing, I wouldn't have asked to change rooms. The front staff at check-in didn't hand over any unnecessary items, so I think that's correct.Firstly, it could have been prevented if there was no noise, secondly, it could have been prevented if they hadn't checked the plan and given the breakfast ticket, and secondly, if they had explained that even if they had given it, there would be a charge.Although I expressed my dissatisfaction, I didn't really feel any apology from the young staff, and I wish they would have decided to call someone higher up if they couldn't deal with it in silence.Any more than that would be a waste of time, so I just paid and headed home.I was planning to buy some souvenirs at the shop, but I didn't want to waste any more money on this hotel, so I bought them around Yubatake and went home.I took a day off and took a long time to come to Kusatsu, but I wanted to use that money to enjoy eating and drinking there, but my budget was over.It was a disappointing trip, and I ended up returning home with a feeling of unease. It hurts to spend more than 5,000 yen for two people even though we can't eat that much in the morning.I'm sure the hotel wants to say it's the fault of the person who misunderstood, but in the customer's opinion, there isn't enough consideration given to the pricing, as mentioned in other people's reviews. The yakiniku served by Mr. Agatsuma at Yubatake the day before was cheaper and more delicious. We probably won't be using it again in the future, but other people please be careful.

There was also a shuttle bus to and from Yubatake at night, which was very convenient. They also have yukatas and geta for rent, so I was allowed to wear them when I went out to the Yubatake field. The open-air bath is also open all night, so I was able to enjoy the hot springs leisurely around 1am.The front staff gave vague answers to questions. There were 3 small insects in the guest room, so I got rid of them.Overall it was normal.

I was very satisfied. The inside of the building is wide and has many passageways, so it's fun just to walk around. There is also a kids corner and a game corner, so the kids will be happy. The hot springs at Yubatake source were also the best. All the staff were kind and we had a great time.I would definitely like to go again.

It's probably because the hotel is built with additional facilities attached, so you have to walk quite a bit to get to the pool or hot springs from your room. It's truly a village.Hot springs have hot baths and are quite effective. You can do putter golf, bowling, karaoke, maze archery, and fishing.I was able to catch carp and crucian carp, but it was similar to wild fishing, and adults had to leave the kids alone and do it seriously to catch fish (lol). If you want the feeling of fishing, I think you will be more satisfied if you go to a fishing pond where you can catch rainbow trout and yamame trout. There are a lot of stairs, so it might not be suitable for people with walking disabilities.

The plumbing in the room was old and difficult to use, but the food was delicious. The public bath is also large, so I took my time in it.You can take a bath even at night, so I took it many times. There is also a shuttle service to Yubatake, which is helpful. We lined up because a lot of people used it.

When I come to Kusatsu Onsen, I have only ever stopped at Hotel Village. I had stayed in a log house many times before with my dog, but this was my first time staying at Hotel Chateaukan, and my family and I returned home satisfied with the food and the use of the facilities. Again and againI want to use it.

It was a very beautiful hotel. I was surprised that the room was spacious and had 4 beds! A mirror for women when applying makeup...On that point, there was a large bright mirror in the next room, which I was very impressed with and it was very easy to use. There was a Jacuzzi bath in the room apart from the large bath. There is a table and chairs on the balcony, where you can also have tea. The scenery feels like a plateau in the forest. The meal was a buffet, but unfortunately the cheese fondue wasn't hot and the cheese didn't solidify! One more thing, I would have liked to have an outlet next to the bed. This time I used it for a tour with a travel agency, and I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
