Don’t stay here! Tiny rooms, surly service, overpriced bar and restaurants, and dreadful, meagre breakfast. The rooms are so small you’ll be lucky if you don’t injure yourself. The staff don’t know how to smile. The check-in staff are miserable, and you have to do most of the process yourself on a 1980’s style terminal. Why bother having check-in staff if it’s self-service?! The night porter is too busy on his phone to bother helping you so don’t ask. The location requires a trudge up the hill to a not very well connected station or a soggy 30 mins walk to OmoteSando - up another hill. The location of the hotel on a busy junction opposite a double lane double storey motorway intersection is horrible for fumes. I cannot tell you strongly enough how bad this place is. Do not trust the pictures!

I like the design here the most. It won the 2014 Good Design Award. Breakfast is one of the reasons why I particularly like staying here.

Be very careful when you book here!! The photos don’t really show this place in its entirety. When we first got here we went into our room, what a shock!! 19m2 and couldn’t even open our suit cases. Double bed pushed into the corner and very poorly lit. Had to ask for bigger room for an extra $120 au a day. Breakfast is poor and very unappetising. This place is lucky to be 3 star!!!

The room is incredibly small and noisy since it’s facing the freeway. For the room is a 3 star at most. Service raised up to 4 star standard. The bleeding eye art piece in the lobby shows horrible taste in art. This company needs to work on improving their understanding in art and luxury.

ac didn't work in the middle of the summer, the flooring was industrial carpet squares, it felt like a cheap motel, and the window looked out into a disgusting alley. Avoid the hotel. The advertising is false.
