We typically stay at luxury hotels in the US and were a bit nervous about Janu due to the google reviews (3.9 at time of this writing). I’ll start with it’s a wonderful property! Seems brand new. Beautiful views.Rooms - Top notch. Spacious. Clean lines.Spa/Gym/Pool - Unbelievable. Perhaps the best hotel gym I’ve ever stayed at. Sauna, Steam, pool all best of the best.Location - Perfect, if you are wanting a tranquil area within the city. Tons of greenery. It was easy to get an uber and head out to all areas of the city in 20 mins. Brand new area.Food - We loved breakfast at Janu Grill. Wonderful service from the mgr from Chicago.Concierge - For the price, I would have expected a much better concierge, both in quality and quantity. Compared to other luxury properties, it’s not great. Borderline bad. It appeared there was just 1 very busy concierge who wasn’t all that helpful. Yet, we had endless staff to push elevator buttons and greet us. Just felt unbalanced where there should be 3-5 people to help at all hours. So, I would plan in advance vs rely on the concierge. If they solved this one thing it would be one of the best hotels in the world. In the end, I’d gladly stay here again! Higher end than comparable 4 seasons, ritz, etc.

Absolutely amazing hotel and experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the entire staff was attentive and helpful. The space is beautiful/peaceful and was the perfect contrast to the busy city outside. Wellness center was an extra special part of our stay. Certainly recommend for a trip to Tokyo!

Overall a great hotel. Well situated, great rooms, and one of the best gyms, pool, and spa I’ve seen at a hotel. Minor drawback was breakfast which was distinctly mid. Eggs Benedict was cold every time I tried it.

The hotel provides good service, my colleague took care of me from the time I got off the car to the check-in, and after I suggested a late check-out, it met my demand as much as possible, one of the luxury It is very important for hotels to respond to customer demand elastically and provide emotional value to customers, and I am very happy that Janu Tokyo can accomplish this.In addition, the rooms have a modern and stylish style that is not often seen in Japan, with a simple European-style design that is comfortable, spacious, and has a terrace, which is definitely rare among hotels in Tokyo. Although it is newly opened, there is almost no smell in the interior, so you don't have to worry about it, so I recommend staying at Janu Tokyo
