The large bath (men's) with a cotton hot spring source is wonderful, and you can almost reserve it for yourself. Although the price is reasonable, the fact that the room has a toilet is also good. The Wi-Fi signal is weak, but if you ask to be near the front desk when making a reservation, they will accommodate you. There seem to be some opinions about customer service, but I don't think it's a bad thing to be told "thank you as always" in a polite manner.

I visited this place as a day trip because I wanted to soak in the Watanoyu hot spring, which is universally praised by hot spring lovers. As a result, the water was wonderful. There is no open-air bath, but I like indoor baths so it's not a problem. It was a weekday afternoon and I was the only person taking a bath. The hot water has a scent typical of Kusatsu Onsen, and although it is highly acidic, it has a gentle feel. The temperature is also generally suitable. Although it is quite far from Yubatake, I was surprised that such a good hot spring could be found in such a place. I've been to Kusatsu Onsen about 50 times so far, and I've been to many outdoor hot springs and day trip hot springs at ryokan hotels, but this has become my favorite.
