The hostel lodging is beautiful with classic Japanese architecture and a Japanese garden area. It was such a unique experience. The rooms and bedding were clean though drafty in April and there doesn't seem to be much insulation in the rooms. The mattress was decently comfortable. The hostel staff were so nice and welcoming. The hostel offers a free drink every night that you stay there and it was so fun drinking with other guests and local community members. Highly recommend!

Very very clean and comfortable! Staff was a bit reserved but accommodating. Communal areas felt extremely clean, and the dorm room offered as much privacy as one can get in a hostel. You can cook, eat, and store food in the kitchen which led to some nice conversations with other travelers. Close to Iriya Station, and located in the Asakusa neighborhood, which felt quiet and safe. I would stay here again!

We got the private room for 2 nights and genuinely couldn't have asked for more. Super comfortable, lots of space, a 3 minute walk from a bus station and a wide range of places to eat, and in an absolutely gorgeous house and little garden. Loved my stay here so much!

This was a wonderful hostel stay. Both the neighborhood and the dorm themselves were very quiet and peaceful. The building is very beautiful and clean, loved the decor and vibe, and was comfortable even in the intense August heat. …

I told them that I made the reservation through Agoda, but we didn't have Agoda.I was told that it wasn't done. But it was definitely booked. I don't know how it works, but I guess that's the way you say it.I tried to eat in the common area, but it was occupied by people who seemed to be staff members and there was no space, so I couldn't eat in the end. I read the atmosphere from the staff.

People who like historical sites will definitely like this youth hostel. The antique style of the old house is so beautiful, and the shining wooden buildings shine when the sun shines in, making people want to sit on the corridor in a daze all afternoon. The bathing equipment that is worrying in the old house is also handled very well. Both the water outlet and the drainage are very comfortable.

It's a nice atmosphere, but 7,000 yen is too much for a guest house where you can stay without meals.
