Use dormitory. The owner was kind enough to tell me about the free public baths at the reception. The dormitory room is clean, but there is no lock on the door. There are lockers for valuables, but the numbers are fixed. Besides me, there was a large proportion of foreigners, including a Japanese man, a German man, a Taiwanese woman, and two Swiss men, but we had a lot of fun interacting with each other. Bus terminal is nearby. The Lawson sign across the street was brown, so it was hard to tell. The nearby supermarket closes as early as 7pm.

A cozy guesthouse having very lovely traditional rooms with tatami floor, futon is sooo comfy I fell asleep instantly. The ladies running the place are so so kind and friendly, common kitchen and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Would def come back to stay next time I visit Kusatsu!

Since I had made a reservation the night before, the parking lot I reserved in advance was full and I couldn't use it, but there was a large free parking lot about a 5-minute walk away.The kitchen, shower, and toilet are shared spaces, and there were people using the kitchen at night and in the morning.The room was a Japanese-style room with a small table, sofa, and futon.I used the room with someone who has allergies, and he kept sneezing for several minutes after entering the room.You can get to Yubatake by walking for about 10 minutes along the road, so it was easy to sightsee.

There was no illumination on the signboard, and the noren curtains were faded, so it was hard to tell when we arrived at night.I stayed in a room with bunk beds, but the curtain separating it from the room next door was thin and you could see inside, so women should be careful.Check-in after 9pm will incur an additional charge.Other than that, I had no problems. Recommended for those who want to stay cheaply.

The kitchen is fully equipped and you can cook your own meals, which is convenient as there is a pot and rice cooker, plates, and chopsticks. Since I was staying for two nights, I wanted to eat something refreshing from the lunch and dinner gourmet food, so I went to two supermarkets, but probably because it was after 6pm, all the prepared foods were sold out. After the initial contact, the owner of the inn was free and easy-going, with almost no contact at all. It's a good accommodation and recommended.

This is the best accommodation in terms of cost performance. I stayed in a dormitory! There is a safe so you can store your valuables, and there is also a closet so you can store your carry case.We also have basic kitchen supplies, so you can even cook for yourself!It's located a little far away, about a 10 minute walk from Yunohatake, and has a calm atmosphere.There is also terrace seating where you can relax and unwind. However, is it a little early to close at 21:00?The bath is a shower, so it's nice this time of year, but it might be harsh in winter.The receptionist was kind and introduced me to some delicious restaurants!

Good:- The staff was very friendly and let us check in an hour earlier than usual, and gave us some useful information- Access to fridge and common areas seem clean.- Good shower pressure and temperature.Bad:- The other guests, while no fault of the property’s, were rather noisy getting ready in the morning and woke us up.- Need to pay to rent towels- Expensive (on weekend) for what you get
