This is a wonderful pension recommended for those who want to stay in a homely atmosphere. The owner and his wife were attentive and easy to talk to, making our stay pleasant and comfortable, not only for families with children but also for couples like us. I would like to visit again to see the squirrels.

I used it during the July holidays. This was my second time using the hotel, and the relaxing and soothing space was still there, and I had a really fun two nights there with a couple I know. Beef braised in red wine, melty and toothless. . It was so delicious. The breakfast scones were also the most delicious I've ever had. Fireworks on BBQ! Enjoy your summer vacation for adults - There are plenty of places to enjoy nearby, including golf courses, stylish cafes, dog runs, ice cream shops, and beer breweries. I played golf on Chunichi and it was a very nice course. I would also like to stay for a long time.

My child turned five years old and it was his first pension debut. I was a little worried about the large hotels these days, but the owners were so considerate that I quickly got used to them. The kids especially loved the room, and as a parent, I felt bad because they started playing in it while other guests were eating. At check-in, I was given tea and cookies (homemade) and was able to go through the process smoothly, which I am grateful for. I stayed at many pensions when I was young, but this was my first experience like this, and it was great. The room is also a triple room with two windows, so you can see the cabbage field from now on.Convenience as the toilet (Western style) and wash basin are separateIs good. The TV is small, but it's there. We also have sofas, DeLonghi, folding tables, bunkers, Febreze, and disinfectant spray. It's a very nice room. There is no open-air bath, but there are two. The washing area and bathtub are spacious and can accommodate a family of three. My son, who likes baths, was allowed to take a bath the next day as well. There was also a trendy Mira and Blue in the shower. All of the meals were homemade, especially the vegetables from Tsumagoi Village, which were delicious, and the children's meals were served on plates, which was very helpful. The breakfast bread was so delicious that I couldn't finish it all, so I got a bag and took it out. The sake and beer at dinner were also delicious. The owner and his wife have been operating the pension since December of last year, and with their great attention to detail, we were able to enjoy a fulfilling two-day holiday. This time, I wanted to relax in Coleman's tent and listen to the river and birds chirping.

When we arrived at the scheduled time in the cool weather typical of the highlands in June, we were welcomed with hot lemon and homemade cookies. Relieve the fatigue of your car trip.Looking at the dinner menu, it's a course meal centered around Italian cuisine. First of all, appetizers. ``Camembert cheese and freshly harvested watercress salad.'' Huh? What is this tomato? sweet. It's different from a regular tomato or an Italian long, thin tomato; no, it's sweeter, more like a fruit than a vegetable. I heard that the ingredients here are made with fresh, local produce as much as possible. They even drive to a farmer's sales office or roadside station several dozen kilometers away to buy it. The heaps of watercress are grown in the garden. The second plate is ``Mozzarella cheese and prosciutto pizza''. The saltiness of the raw ham is well balanced with the elegant cheese. The pizza dough is somewhere between Neapolitan style and Roman style. I can see that they were worried about not letting her get full yet.The third item is ``pasta with shrew horse tomatoes from Kita Karuizawa.'' The tomato skin and pulp in the pasta sauce have a nice texture. I guess the sweetness of the tomatoes from earlier has been heated and turned into umami. Speaking of Kita Karuizawa, isn't it one place just before the last time I came? Let's stop by the vegetable store tomorrow. The main course is ``Sautéed Yamato pork loin and homemade hamburger with Tsumagoi rice.'' It's an elegant brand of pork that won't leave your stomach feeling hungry. It's a double meat dish, but the demi glaze and mustard sauce keep it from getting boring. The wild vegetables on the side are ``kogomi.'' When I arrived by car earlier, Madame appeared from the garden holding it in her hand. Apparently there is a murmur of spring water behind the building, and it naturally grows in the garden. What a luxurious place. In fact, what stood out for this main dish was Tsumagoi rice. It's less sticky but sweet. Although it looks like Western rice on the plate, it is truly the deliciousness of Japanese rice. Tsumagoi rice seems to be rare. It's true that I drove around this area, but I didn't see any rice fields. What you can see are cabbage fields on both the right and left. A carpet of cabbages spread out on a vast hill. There are trees and a tractor on the top of the hill. I was able to capture a spectacular view that looked just like Hokkaido. Now, dessert is a different matter. ``Kiwi and Smooth Almond Tofu'' is served with a choice of black tea.By the way, the water in the glass is quite soft and spreads in my mouth. Apparently it's natural spring water. There are tourist spots in Tsumagoi Village where you can draw natural water, but there are probably many places where spring water is flowing out that tourists don't know about. This water must be what makes vegetables, rice, and pork delicious. The breakfast the next morning was as fulfilling as you can see in the photo. It seems that they have been baking bread since early morning. This is one of the cheapest pensions, but the food is of this quality. It can be said that it is more than worth the price. I was so impressed by the amount of effort put into cooking by the madam alone and the hospitality of the host that I asked, ``Are you overdoing it?''In France, ``restaurants with overnight stays'' that you can drive to are called auberges, and the idea is that ``if you're going to spend money, you should spend more money on food than on facilities.'' This place looks just like an auberge.I was so satisfied that I immediately asked about scheduling a return visit. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at this pension yesterday and the day before yesterday.Shortly after arriving, we were served warm homemade lemonade and cookies🍪It was delicious!! ️Not only dinner and breakfast, but all the granola and cookies that are good for the body are handmade, and at this time of year, watercress from the garden and kogomi are used. The locally produced food was very delicious! ️The bath is also made with natural water from Mt. Asama, so it's mellow and warm for a long time, and I didn't have to use body cream to feel moisturized, which helped relieve my fatigue😌♨️The season is getting better and betterI asked you to make your next reservation ☺️

Both the couple were kind and considerate, and I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The food was very delicious and I was glad that they used local ingredients well. All the breads were homemade too. A squirrel and a small bird appeared in front of me and I felt soothed.
