Best stay experience i had so far in japan. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. They offer breakfast, bath and laundry at extra charge. Laundry seems a bit pricy at first, but they did all the work for us and also fold our laundry so i was pleasantly surprised and wished more hotel had this option. Only draw back would be that bath you can book is a bit small and the location is a bit far from the station, but you get used to it after couple of days.

An authentic family run hotel. Very courteous and helpful reception. Extremely good knowledge of English. The breakfast is very good. The location near the subway station for exploring Tokyo is excellent. …

We visited for 4 days and were warmly and openly welcomed. The staff spoke excellent English and always made time for us.The room was spacious due to the classic design and the bathroom was spacious for Japanese hotels. The hotel was always clean and tidy.Even gluten intolerance was addressed as best as possible and the kitchen staff paid careful attention to the ingredients used (of course not everything worked, but it was implemented as best as possible).Overall, this was an excellent stay. Anyone looking for classic accommodation will be happy here.

Nice, small hotel where you can experience the traditions of Japan. If you want to have the experience of sleeping traditionally or going through a tea ceremony, you can do that here. …

Very nice traditional ryokan hotel in a quiet environment. Very friendly staff, most of them speak good English. Rooms with tatami floors and futons, Yutaka is provided as well as kettle and tea. There's a cute little onsen shared bathroom overlooking a pretty Japanese courtyard garden. You can also take part in a tea ceremony. The Japanese breakfast is delicious and rich. The area is quiet and very charming with small streets, low-rise houses and mini gardens. The only disadvantage: some districts such as Shibuya, Ginza or the fish market are relatively far away.

Amazing service, staff were super kind and helpful with everything. Very cozy with a very Japanese-style lobby. Neighbourhood is quiet without all the hustle and bustle of the city centre. When we left for the airport today, the staff even provided us with a map and directions to the station elevator without us even asking, since they were worried about us lugging our suitcases down the stairs.
