My mother, who was old and in poor health, said, ``I want to go on a trip one more time before I die,'' so I made a reservation, but the doctor said, ``(Because her condition is progressing quickly,) it would be better to go on a trip as soon as possible.'' When I tried to change the reservation date several times, the innkeeper told me“It would be a nuisance if you came in that condition.”"It's better to give up on your final trip."I was told such heartless words one after another.Furthermore, they said, ``We're going to cancel it,'' and the dates we were originally scheduled to go were automatically cancelled.I've been going here every year for over 30 years, and counting from my grandmother's stand, I've been using it for over 40 years, but the treatment was so bad that I decided to write about it here. There are many other cheap and beautiful accommodations in Kusatsu Onsen.Instead of choosing such a rude inn, we recommend choosing an inn or hotel where you can create more enjoyable memories.

Although it is an old inn, it is very cordial and I am very satisfied. The rice was also delicious. It might be difficult if you go with a big car.

Before arriving home, I called to report that I had made it safely to my neighborhood.

Thank you for your help in that section. A very kind host and friendly landlady. There was more food than I could finish. [I'll be there again.] ]This is what the inn made me say. No wonder it's highly rated.

Showa style innThe bath is like a communal bath, but the hot water is exceptional. The price is cheap, and Yubatake is just around 100m away. The meal was exactly as I had imagined, at a ryokan, and I was able to relax.

Revisited in February 2023.This is a cozy and relaxing inn that makes you feel like you've come to grandma's house in the countryside. There was a kotatsu in the room.Although the building is old, the rooms and toilets are clean and have a good impression. There was a washlet. Both dinner and breakfast were home-style Japanese food (which was great), and they were prepared in a small room separate from the room where we were staying. There was a TV so I could eat while watching it.The bath is small, but there are separate men's and women's baths. (It's not a family bath) The hot water was a little hot and was nice. There was no smell of cigarettes in the room at all. I think it's best to inquire whether smoking is allowed or not. There is free Wi-Fi. Explanations for 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz were posted near the stairs.I received a travel support coupon and was able to make reservations online. Surprisingly (!?) I thought that the inn was IT-enabled.It is a very quiet inn despite its good location, being close to the bus terminal and Yubatake. It became my favorite inn and I will be returning again.

It's a secluded location and an old building that makes you wonder, ``This place?!'' But when you leave after staying there, you'll think, ``I want to come again!'' The rooms, bathrooms, and building are old, but somehow nice. I also like the humbleness of the wife.

I was considering a ski trip with my family and visited Kusatsu Onsen for the first time, where you can also enjoy hot springs. Without any prior knowledge, I booked this inn near the bus terminal and Yubatake, the center of Kusatsu Onsen, and it turned out to be a big hit.The building is not new, but there was a kotatsu in the room, so I was able to relax and feel like I was back at home. The food, dinner, and breakfast were both plentiful and very delicious. On the first day, I ended up eating all around Yubatake, but on the second day I refrained from eating all that food in order to have dinner. The bath at the inn was fed directly from the Yubatake source, and the morning bath was the best. And above all, the personality of the couple who stays at the inn. Both of them were kind and treated me like I was back at home during the trip. I would like to stay here again next time.

A small inn with a Showa era atmosphere. Although it is small, it has separate indoor baths for men and women. It's hot as it seems to come from a Yubatake source, but once you get used to it, you won't be able to get out. Also a base for touring hot springs.

Parental journey with parentsKusatsu is still a small inn with a nice Yubatake hot spring source. It's about a minute and a half walk from the parking lot.You can unload it in front of the hotel, so it's not a problem.I only had breakfast, but it was plentiful and delicious. Please be patient with the old equipment (lol)It's okay to share, so I'd like a refrigerator. There is one hair dryer in the sink outside the bath. The toilet on the second floor is Western style. The couple is very kind.Yubatake hot springs can only be described as the best. It's just barely enough for two people.
