I visited with two bikes. When I arrived around 17:00 and checked where to park my bicycle, I was able to park it right next to the inn. When I took a walk around the area at night, I saw a car parked in front of it, covered with a blue tarpaulin. When I travel by motorcycle, I always worry about being pranked or stolen while I'm not watching, so I was very grateful for this kind of consideration.thank you very much. It's a nice and quaint building. The common areas and rooms were very well maintained. There are two hot springs available for private use. They don't require reservations and you can enter if there is space, but we didn't have to wait much and thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs. The location was perfect as a base for walking, right next to Yubatake.I would definitely stay here again when I go to Kusatsu Onsen.

It was a few seconds walk from Yubatake, and everything from the guest room to the shared bathroom was well-cleaned, making it a comfortable stay. However, there are some things that are underrated. The air conditioning and dehumidification didn't work at all, and there were a few people talking very loudly late at night. I could feel the coolness by putting on screens and opening the windows, but I don't like insects so I hesitate to open the windows, and the voices talking in front of the inn late at night were quite unpleasant. It was a bit of a shame because the breakfast was delicious and the owner couple were also nice people.

I used it for one night during Obon 😊It was a good place, close to Yubatake, close to a parking lot, and the baths could be reserved for 24 hours.I used it for my husband's birthday, and he was very happy and said he wanted to go again.

Kusatsu Onsen Koizumikan is located in a location that can be said to be almost in front of the Yubatake field. We visited hot springs by car 🚗overnight with breakfastI was also able to park my car at Koizumikan. Many places in Koizumikan require a single drive, so even if you have a navigation system, you'll still get lost.It was a very difficult place to find, but we headed for Yubatake and arrived there.I felt that smaller cars would be more dangerous for people who are not used to driving, such as turning back. This is a hot spring drawn from a hot spring bath. After checking in, I immediately went to the hot springs. The temperature is around 43 degrees, so if you soak for 5 minutes, your body will be warm.By genderIt only takes one person to enter, so it's a private reservation system.Personally it was goodNaturally flowing directly from the sourceYou can enter until 10am the next day. There are izakayas and yakitori restaurants around Koizumikan. There are soba restaurants, but there seem to be almost no soba restaurants open at night.Dinner is at a nearby restaurant called Korinbo.I went to a pubDiagonally in front is a building called Hakko-tei, which has been around since the Meiji era. There is a soba restaurantThe restaurant is said to be loved by locals because of its reasonable prices.I heard the good reviews, so I visited for lunch the next day.It was a great price with breakfast included at Koizumikan.Toilets and water areas are shared. The overall cleaning was thorough. Before check out at 10amFree public bath tour from around 7amVisiting shrines etc.Afterwards, I was able to leave the car there until around noon, so I was able to take a walk around. The attentiveness of the very pleasant landlady and the cheerful husband was wonderful.I had a great time thanks to you.thank youI will use it again

Superb experience in Koizumikan!Foods are great, service from the couples who run the inn are great, gave you amenities including towels and yukata to use, location are very easily accessible from Yubatake (center of Kusatsu) and also just go straight from there you will get to a lot of shops then eventually to Sainokawara Rotenburou (the famous Kusatsu's open-air bath onsen). Somehow, the whole experience is exceeding our expectations. The couples are very warm, welcoming and always ready to help you. They cook really delicious foods 🤭The foods they prepared are very wholesome, fulfilling, nutritious traditional Japanese meals. They have 2 private baths inside the inn, which the water comes from Yubatake itself so it has the healing effects as the other Yubatake-sourced onsen. It's just too hot compared to the other paid onsen haha but they provided a tool to help you cool the temperature a bit.Overall I would definitely recommend this place to whoever needs to experience Ryokan! If you like Japanese cuisine in general, be sure to get the meal package and try them all no matter how strage it looks to you, because you will not regret it!!

I visited on a road bike and was treated very politely and kindly. The location of the inn was very convenient as it was less than a minute walk from Yubatake. The food was also very delicious. I would definitely like to go again. The hot springs were also available for private use and were very nice ♨️
