I participated in a snowshoe hiking tour to Chatubomi Goke Park in the Rokugo area of Nakanojo Town. That day, I stayed at Rokugo no Yado Kujiraya for the first time.I had climbed Mt. Shirasuna before and was planning to visit Nakanojo Rokugo again.Chatubomi Goke Park Snowshoeing is sponsored by the Nakanojo Town Tourism Division and you cannot enter in the winter unless you take this tour, so please check the website and apply.And although I was the only one staying at this inn, Kujira-ya, it was a very comfortable stay. The room, bathroom, and food were all wonderful.Both the husband and wife got along very well and we had a fun conversation.I am also happy to be able to purchase local Iriyama Menpa here.It was very helpful for me to pick up and drop off.Unfortunately, the soba restaurant nearby was not open this time due to the season, and I was currently unable to use the Kyozuka Onsen open-air bath due to issues with the amount of hot water. However, there are Shiriyaki Onsen nearby, which is helpful.Next time, I would like to come back in the summer or fall to visit the soba restaurant, Lake Nozori, and go mountain climbing!Nakanojo Town is a town that I want more people to know about.

It's been a long time since I stayed overnightI’m glad everyone is doing well.I was surprised at how delicious the white rice was.The maitake mushroom rice and miso soup were also great.It's always hot when I see toilet printsI wonder when I can go next time

The hostess said that the name ``Whale Shop'' came about because a child told her that the shape of the inn building resembled a ``whale.''On the day of the stay, the couple and their grandmother received a warm welcome from their beautiful grandchild.food and drinks. Everything was really delicious. It was a great stay where you could feel the love of the owner and his wife who love Rokugo.

I went with a friend the other day. The whale shop has a large fireplace in the living room, and I was allowed to light firewood for the first time. Very warm and relaxing atmosphere. Time passes slowly. The meals are mainly home-cooked courses, all with gentle flavors. For alcohol, I would like Kuresaka Pass, a local sake from Kusatsu. In addition to the indoor bath, there is an open-air hot spring right next to the inn, which can be reserved for private use depending on the time. I thoroughly enjoyed my winter trip. I want to go again.
