I spent a night and it was memorable. I picked the room which has a terrace, it was a spacious and very japanese one, we are very surprised the room was built more than 100 years and we were lucky to be able to spend a night in this hotel!we were late for dinner and happy to have the staff to assist. They were very nice in every aspect and served with warm welcome. My family enjoyed the wonderful dinner and breakfast in the hotel. The staff explained well when serving the dishes, very much appreciated that they try to communicate in english, it helped a lot! :)The hot spring were great. There were 1 outdoor and 2 indoors, all of them were comfortable.I am glad to spent my time in this hotel and would certainly recommend it! Just don’t arrive too late because the dinner will be served before 18:30.

A homely accommodation. The room we stayed in was a Japanese-Western style room that felt dated, but it was well-maintained and comfortable. The meals are plentiful. Local dishes such as the famous rock fish, cabbage, and eggplant dengaku are delicious. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee service was also great. The hot spring was open all night until morning, and I was in it when I woke up. The quality of the spring water is also good.

Hot water is good♪You can see that efforts are being made to repair the area around the hot springs, but the rest is probably in a lot of trouble.

I used it for a day trip to the hot springs, and it was empty probably because it was a weekday. The inside of the building is dark due to power saving. The hot springs are hot, and even when you are away from the hot springs, they are still hot. There is a sleeping bath, but it's too hot to take a bath.I wanted a way to lower the temperature in the back.It might be nice in colder months, but the open-air bath seems to be closed in winter.

The bath was nice.I like the food and the seasoning, and I'm very satisfied with the timing and timing.Smoking was previously allowed, but smoking is now prohibited indoors. I would appreciate it if you could at least set up a non-smoking room indoors.

April 21st (Sun) - 22nd (Mon), 2024If you drive up from Tomi City, you will find the former Kazawa Onsen. Once you pass there, you will find it in a corner of Shinkazawa Onsen town. When I entered the entrance, I was greeted by a stuffed deer and the proprietress. There are rooms in the main building on the first to third floors, and in separate rooms. We had a room on the second floor. To get to the bathroom, go straight through the entrance and go up the stairs, and the one in front is for boys and the one in the back is for girls. There is a water dispenser just past the entrance to the men's bath, which is nice. The men's indoor bath has hot water in the front, lukewarm water in the back, and the outdoor bath is a cypress bath. The women's indoor bath was the same as the men's bath, and the open-air bath was a stone bath. The indoor bath was lukewarm, but it wasn't as hot as the outdoor bath. The open-air bath was warm. Well, the temperature will be lower because the outside temperature is lower, right? The spring quality is sodium, magnesium, and hydrogen carbonate hot spring.Indications include gastrointestinal diseases, brain diseases, neuralgia, rheumatism, anemia, women's diseases, and bronchitis. We were the only guests, so we rented it out for ourselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the bath. I was lucky to be able to use the bath as much as I wanted for such a long time and also because it was private.Since we were the only ones having dinner and breakfast, we enjoyed them in a private room used by people staying in the detached house. A TV was installed. Eating food while watching TV.All of the dishes were delicious and served hot.Dessert was also delicious. For dinner, I especially liked the sukiyaki and the grilled fish (Tsumagoi Yamame). The sukiyaki didn't have raw eggs, so I asked for extra. After all, sukiyaki is no good without raw eggs. The grilled fish is piping hot and meaty. The tempura was also freshly made, crispy and delicious. There was a lot of food, so I was full.Unfortunately, I ate simmered wakame, potatoes, bamboo shoots, and scallops, but the fact that they were simmered together with wakame gave it a disappointing taste. It would have been better not to use seaweed if possible. For breakfast, it was something like cabbage rolls made with cream and heated on the stove. The breakfast was also delicious. There was also coffee service after the meal.It was a one-night, two-day trip that I thoroughly enjoyed.
