It's unexpected how amazing this place is. The food, the amenities, the rooms. It was a little difficult for me to get there, but it is a unique experience that I recommend if you come on a trip.

It was my first time at Kusatsu Onsen, and I had a very comfortable time! !The male staff member was very kind and personable! I was moved by how kind they were when they kept my luggage for me even after I checked out and offered to take it to the station! There are 3 hot springs with free flowing water, and it was great that they were open 24 hours a day. It's okay even if the hot springs are full! We have board games and more so you can have fun while waiting! There was also a bottle of milk service, and the room was nice and clean! The inn looks small from the outside, but the inside is bigger than I expected, and the staff was very kind, which made my trip so much more comfortable! Thank you very much☺️

Not sure why it's rated so high.Although the price is reasonable, it is actually a low-ranked guesthouse in Kusatsu Onsen.Although the building is intended for a training camp, it has been renovated and does not feel unclean. The building has a nostalgic feel of a tourist inn during the high economic growth period of the Showa era, with rooms lined up on both sides of a narrow hallway with steep stairs.I wanted to relax in the bath, so I booked a somewhat expensive room with a semi-open-air bath. The room is advertised as having a semi-open-air bath, but in reality, you can only see the sky and ground through a few centimeters of a gap in the latticework, and there are no windows, so there is no view at all. It is extremely questionable what makes it semi-open-air.Also, the bathtub is as small as an old business hotel and only has a half-body bath. Of course I can't relax. The structure is similar to a love hotel, with glass walls separating the rooms and the bedrooms being completely visible.Dinner was a pre-prepared cold bento called Shokado. It's not freshly made, it's not hot, and you can eat it in less than 30 minutes. The location is also quite different in elevation from the Yubatake area, so it feels farther away on foot than it looks on the map.Compared to other inns in Kusatsu Onsen, the price felt about 30% more expensive. It seems that the 100 yen drink provided as a welcome drink and the friendly customer service of the employees are highly praised, but the basic service is lacking. As someone who knows some of the other inns, I was more disappointed than disappointed.

The exterior of the inn gave a hint of its age, and renovations couldn't hide it.The walls are thin and voices from the room can be heard in the hallway. The price is reasonable, but I was not impressed with the dinner and breakfast. Are they not picky about the fact that they are served the same meals every time, regardless of the season?I should have gone after seeing the reviews and photos.Regarding the bath in the room, it was so loose that I thought the bottom would fall out.Children are also charged a fee even though they are 0 years old.Hospitality was good.(Hot spring milk service available)I won't be going again

My family went to Kusatsu for the first time on Saturday, August 17th. It's a time when prices are high, but it looks like a good inn, so let's go! I'm glad I took the plunge. It was a warm inn where you could feel the kindness of the hospitality from beginning to end (*^^*)The rooms have been renovated and are spacious and clean. If the bath is open, you can take a bath 24 hours a day (there are 3 types). The kids couldn't take a hot bath, so I'd appreciate it if it was 41 degrees, but the hot springs at 42 and 43 degrees were all great! (The hot part is only used by adults after the children have gone to bed)There were retro games in the room and in the space after the bath, and I was excited to play a game that I rarely get to play♪ I was also able to use the massage chair for free, which was relaxing. On the first day, we visited the Kusatsu tropical zone before checking in, and after checking in and taking a bath, we went to the Yubatake field in the evening. I enjoyed walking at night because it was cool and the distance wasn't that far. (Be careful as the streets are dark at night)The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the portion was not too much nor too little. The staff at the hotel told us about recommended spots, and although we didn't have any plans for sightseeing on the second day, we were able to enjoy all-you-can-eat gelato at Otaki-no-Yu and the hot springs at Otaki-no-Yu before returning home. .I also received a discount ticket to a coffee shop and bought Chichiya's manju to take out. I was glad that they were kind enough to let me park my car and go sightseeing before and after check-in and check-out. It was my first time in Kusatsu, and it was very nice, so I would like to come back and stay the night when I visit again (*^^*) Thank you!*It seems to be read as ``Eidaya'' instead of ``Nagataya''. The settings on the car navigation system are difficult to understand depending on the model, so I thought it would be better if it were made easier to understand m(__)m
