I was looking forward to visiting the rock bath where hot springs gush out.The changing room and washing area are small, but it's built mainly around rock baths, so maybe that's unavoidable. The food was also delicious. The menu also mentions the utensils used, which intrigued me. Due to the circumstances of the kitchen, the food seemed to be served rapidly, and I felt that it would have been better if the food was served at a slower pace.Unfortunately, as I was putting my car into the parking lot, a woman in Japanese clothes who appeared to be the landlady approached me suspiciously, and even though she introduced herself, she didn't even say ``Welcome''. After we were let in, the waiter was running the business quickly, and for a moment I realized that this person was actually the proprietress. That's what I thought. The landlady greeted me at the restaurant after I was shown to my room, but her voice was low and awkward. I would like to see more "landlady training".

A wonderful hot spring inn. Kusatsu Onsen is full of the scent of Iwo Jima. The food in the annex is prepared far above Gora Kadan. This is probably the only place in Japan where an explanation of the bowls is included on the menu.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of young people and foreigners, I was able to stay in peace and take a bath in a rare hot spring rock bath.I could feel the richness of the hot spring ingredients gushing out from the rock surface through my skin.I've been to many hot springs from Kyushu to Hokkaido, and it's no wonder that this one is said to be the best in Japan. The Nakai-san's service was also pleasant. The food was a bit too much, but it was delicious. The stay was well worth the price.

Last time I used it, the only sashimi was Kinmedai, the baths were changed, I was half asleep, I made a mistake, I panicked, the hostess was a surfer, and I was surprised to see that she had a big Wakka ring on her 👘. The price was so high that at the front desk on the way back, the monk who stayed there for two nights complained that he had to eat the same sashimi for two days. By the way, I was introduced to the hotel by a taxi driver, but the next day I stayed at Prince in Manza and was so impressed by the hot springs that I became a regular. I don't think the hot water in Kusatsu is good.

It was a really good inn.Although it was close to the city center, it was a quiet trip where I was able to forget about everyday life. They say that the food looks just as good as it tastes, and I was fascinated by the tableware and the careful use of the knife, and the gentle flavor made me feel warm.I also enjoyed the open-air bath many times.thank you very much.

It's the best accommodation! The room is spacious and clean, and the bath in the room uses hot water sourced from the Yubatake, and the rock bath is an impressive bath with hot springs gushing out from gaps in the rocks! As everyone else said, the food was delicious, Yubatake was only a 1-minute walk away, and the staff was very attentive! When I asked about the time to change the baths, the landlady told me that I could use the rock bath privately, although I think it was because the number of guest rooms had been cut in half due to the coronavirus and there were fewer customers. It was great! This is a place I would definitely stay at again!*For reference, the room was one of the two best rooms and cost 65,000 yen per person, which I think is a reasonable price!

It didn't feel very luxurious. The room feels like a normal inn. The yokan served at the welcome was not very tasty 😥 The room smelled a little musty 😱 The futon was scratchy and painful 😣 It was a great experience 🫡
