I am very satisfied with the hotel. The response to emails back and forth is very fast. You can make an appointment to be connected to Yuzawa Station. There is also a bus next to the hotel that connects to various entrances of Ishiuchi Maru for free. What's even better is that there is a cable car station in front of the hotel.The staff were all very nice and the dinner was very varied and delicious.Renting ski equipment is unexpectedly cheap. Although it is not very new, the CP value is really worth it.Snow tickets are also cheaper than early bird ticketsAlthough the room is a bit old, it is very clean and the hot spring pool has been renovated. It is a good place that is run with care!

Recommended for tourists who already have equipment and focus on skiing, for the following reasons1. There is a cable car station in front of the hotel. After getting on the second lift, you can go directly to the end of the Ishiuchi Maruyama sunrise gondola. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the central entrance, but I personally don’t think it is necessary. It is very convenient to go directly to the sightseeing entrance and go up the cable car.2. The hotel has an elevator. There is a equipment room and locker on the first floor. There is a heater that will be on all night. Gloves can be hung to dry. I especially like that there is a spray gun at the entrance that can completely remove the remaining ice on the snowboard.3. The room is fresh but clean. There is a toilet and a washbasin in the room. You don’t have to go to the cold corridor to pee in the middle of the night. The public bath is very clean. It is very convenient to have a free washing machine in the girls’ bath. The price of the dryer is also reasonable. The room has enough Crossbars and hangers can also be hung directly in the room to dry.4. The price is very value for money. One room and two meals include station pick-up and drop-off. The dinner portion is very large and there are three kinds of protein every day. The breakfast is a simple buffet style that can fill you up. The content will be repeated slightly every four days.5. You can buy cable car tickets directly from the owner Yamada San. The price is very favorable. It is very convenient to settle the payment together with the room fee on the last day.6. The boss is clear-minded and the employees are kind and polite. We are a very large group arriving and departing at different times and with different meal restrictions. During the contact process, the boss never missed any room requirements.Some minor disadvantages: There is no WI-FI in the room, so you have to go to the lobby to connect for work; the lights near the washbasin are very dim; the sound insulation of the old house is not very good, and sensitive people are recommended to wear earplugsFinally, I would like to thank Yamada San and all the staff for taking care of me these days and taking the trouble to deal with all kinds of needs, big and small. Stayed at ELM for two consecutive years. The warm staff of the small hotel always remember who you are and which room you are in.The dinner is a sumptuous double main course, even the children are given the same portion, and the raw food is freshSki passes and ski equipment are cheap, and there are several Japanese ski shops nearby to choose from.There is a connecting road at the central entrance that allows you to slide back to the hotel. On holidays, it is also very time-saving to take the cable car at the central entrance when there are many people.There are too few sockets in the room, please bring your own two-hole extension cord

Although it's not big, it's very, very clean & convenient! Alipay can be used ~There is no restaurant nearby, so be sure to order a set meal with breakfast and dinner. Their food is really delicious~

We had a great experience here, the staffs are very nice and helpful. English communication on e-mail or verbally are both good! We booked stay+2 meal+ lift ticket package and enjoyed it very much.Location- Just below 觀光口 slope, lift is 1 min walk, ski in/out is available.Room- Room is spacious and clean. Althoug there's no private bath in the room, the public bath (with hot tub) is 24H avaible and clean (free washing machine availbe at the bath). There's private toilet and sink in the room.Food- Both breakfast (all you can eat) and dinner (set menu) are delicious and the menu changes daily.Service- Free locker and gear retal availble. The rental price is good and the gear is in good condition.Free shuttle service from/to Echigo Yuzawa station is provided.

I will come to Ishidawan Mountain to ski in late January 2024!Stayed at this small hotel for six nightsHe has many shortcomings,But I still admire it!It takes 7 minutes to walk from the central entrance. Although there is a shuttle bus, there is only one bus an hour, so I always walk to the central entrance. Just take a walk and chat. If you are unlucky like me, there will be one next to the room. There is a railway passing by which is a bit noisy at night. You should prepare earplugs. Although there are not many trains, it will still disturb people.The biggest advantage of this small restaurant is that it is extremely cheap. I strongly recommend that you choose to stay and eat for two, because its dinner is quite sumptuous and only costs 2,000 yen per person. I can’t praise the breakfast. The breakfasts for the six days are pretty much the same. If you’re like me and don’t care too much about breakfast, it should be acceptable.What’s even better about this small restaurant is that the staff inside are warm, friendly and polite. Even if they don’t speak English well, they can still communicate. Don’t worry.The room equipment here is relatively good, but it is better than the B&B near the central entrance. There is no toilet or sink in the room.At the same time, there are washing machines and dryers in the girls’ public bathrooms for you to change your equipment... In short, it’s great value for money and worth your consideration.
