If you are going for mountain climbing alone, you will not be able to make a reservation.I was told that I could not call before a holiday if it was a weekday, so I took a day off on a weekday and called, but was told that I could not do it even on weekdays.

I stayed here alone to climb Mt. Hiragatake Prince Route. I think it probably depends on the accommodation situation. There is no bath, so as someone else commented, people who want to take a bath several times may be dissatisfied, but from the perspective of mountain climbers, since they leave early in the morning, they go to bed early, so they can use the nearby Shirogane Hot Spring. That was enough. For dinner, we mainly ate wild vegetables, and everything was delicious. It was perfect as a beer snack.I stayed in the main building, and the Japanese-style room was clean and had air conditioning and a fan.Even though it was early in the morning, the climbers were provided with rice balls and sausages. The owner also provided transportation to the trailhead and the hotel. I was able to drive safely even on the rickety road that took 1.5 hours each way.I also wanted to use it when climbing a nearby mountain.

The room is Japanese style and clean. There is a sink with hot water and a toilet. Needless to say, the air-conditioned meal featured a lot of local wild vegetables. It was very delicious. Unfortunately, you can't take a hot spring bath at the hotel. They will give you a free bath ticket to the nearby Shirogane-no-Yu, but the last entry is at 6 o'clock. It's a pity that you can't take a hot spring bath after your meal. The host is very knowledgeable about the nearby mountains and fishing.

We were treated to a rich variety of mountain cuisine. The tempura and salt-grilled rock fish were served freshly from the frying pan, and we enjoyed them piping hot. Even though it's a guest house, it has a toilet and sink, so I think the quality is high.

You can choose to stay in a guesthouse or in a cottage.I have fond memories of fighting all night with so many stink bugs at the cottage. There was one room with a tatami floor on the first floor, and a room with a tatami floor and a twin bedroom on the second floor. The food was very delicious, and I am grateful that I was informed that I could use the accommodation subsidy for residents of the prefecture due to the coronavirus.
