I was worried about the stray typhoon, but I'm glad I went. It was great.On the day of our arrival, we were unable to see a few meters ahead due to the gas, but I was happy when the mountain hut came into view.I was greeted and had my photo taken.The mountain hut was small, with only the space for one futon and you could hear the sound of footsteps, but it had a cozy atmosphere, and you could enjoy sitting around the table and have lively conversations with other climbers. The soup and rice were also very delicious.I thought it would be nice if they could make the common room larger and open it even after meals.I was worried about the weather, but on September 3rd, the sunset, starry sky, and the next morning's sunrise were spectacular.I was able to enjoy the scenery that can only be enjoyed by staying in the mountains.Tateyama also has mountain huts with hot springs, so it's a good idea to relax on your second night.Thank you to everyone at the mountain lodge and everyone I met on the day.

Located at an altitude of 2800m, it is in a great location where you can see the sunrise and sunset. The food is delicious and the staff are all kind.

Last year, a stranger who was climbing the mountain recommended me to stay there as the dinner and breakfast were very good, so I stayed there and it was very delicious. Also, when the night is clear, the starry sky is wonderful, but even in summer it is quite cold. When the morning sun comes out from Kashimayari, it is very beautiful. Even at dusk, you can enjoy the ever-changing scenery as the clouds begin to gather. This is a mountain hut that I would like to stay at again.

If you can stay here for a night even if you don't have the physical strength, I think it will be one of the easiest traverse courses in the Northern Alps in summer. There is a large snowy valley nearby and it gets quite cold when the sun goes down, so if you are sensitive to heights, be sure to warm up and drink plenty of water before enjoying the spectacular views after dusk.
