Conveniently located near Goryokaku. Breakfast is not included, but a slice of bread, margarine, and jam are provided in the morning. I thought it was interesting that the concrete was poured all over. There was no BS on TV. It is sufficient as a business hotel. There is also a Seicomart nearby.

Although the exterior and interior are somewhat original, the hotel is well-equipped, well-located, and very reasonably priced.

Accommodation period: June 2024Reservation grade: SingleAssigned room: 2F*Since I spend about 150 nights a year both in Japan and overseas, this is mostly a memorandum for myself. The main things to focus on are bathing, gym, and laundry.■OverviewOverall satisfied. Although the price is low, the location and room are not bad. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have a chance to visit Hakodate next time. However, there is no coin laundry facility, so 2 nights is the limit.■LocationIt is close to downtown Goryokaku, and there are many restaurants nearby, so there are no inconveniences. There is also a Seicomart convenience store across the road from the hotel. It takes about 5-6 minutes to get to Hakodate City Tram Station (Goryokaku Koen-mae Station), but the bus stop (Goryokaku Koen-mae Entrance) is conveniently located right in front of you. There is a bus that comes from Hakodate Airport to this bus stop without changing trains, so you can take that bus. You can reach Hakodate Station in about 20 minutes by tram or bus.■Indoor-BreadthThe room assigned was very spacious and wonderful. It's actually too big for one person. However, each room seems to have a different layout, and some rooms are small.-sceneryIt's originally only up to the second floor, so you can't expect a good view. The room I was assigned was a room that was almost entirely made of glass facing a large intersection, so while it was good to have a good view of the outside and feel bright and airy, it was also visible to cars and passersby, which bothered me and ended up causing me to keep going. I was wearing curtains...-WifiForgot to measure-bathtubNarrow(I'm 175cm so I have to bend my legs quite a bit)-Hot water temperatureNo problem at all, piping hot water comes out.-Power of hot waterThere's quite a bit of momentum-Bed hardnessQuite soft-refrigeratorThe limit for small, 2 liter size plastic bottles is two.-Security boxNone (I think it was)-OutletIt's by the bedside-HangerFour-balconynone-tv setcan be-Hairdryercan be-toothbrushYes (I think it was)-Noise (adjacent room, outdoor)No particular sound leakage from neighboring roomsOutside, there was a large intersection in front of me, so I could hear some traffic, but it wasn't that bothersome.■Gymnone■LaundryNo coin laundry facilities in the hotelInconvenient if you want to stay for a long time■CleaningNone for one night■MealsSimple breakfast service available(1 piece of bread, instant soup, and coffee)■StaffNothing of particular concern■Others- It looks like it was a separate building that was renovated into a hotel, with the exposed concrete structure being fashionable at best and inorganic at worst.・The room key (or more accurately, the key chain part, not the key itself) is so large that it would be difficult to fit it into a man's pants pocket. Despite this, there is a mysterious rule that says you can't leave it at the front desk when you go out, and you can't bring it with you. I was told that I could take the key with me by removing the keychain part, but I doubt I'll be able to leave it there in the first place.

It's in a very good location, near the downtown area near Goryokaku Park. The parking lot is expensive at 1100 yen/night. Accommodation fees are cheap. The service breakfast is simple: one piece of toast, soup with powder, and self-service coffee. I don't recommend it for sightseeing, but it's sufficient for business. Each room seemed to have a different layout, and my room had small windows and felt like a prison. The ceiling was very high, probably because the building used to be Mitsukoshi.

The hotel was a renovated former Sogo building with high ceilings.I chose this hotel based on its location because I wanted to walk around Goryokaku early in the morning, and it was a clean, modern, and comfortable hotel for a fairly reasonable price range.Perhaps because of the original building, the lobby, common spaces, and rooms all have high ceilings, and even though the rooms were a bit small, I didn't feel oppressed at all.Unfortunately, the provided hanger was a bit difficult to use because it was fixed. You can get coffee and tea for free from the drink machine in the lobby. The free breakfast is also simple with white bread, instant soup, butter and jam. There is a Secoma in front of you, so if you don't have enough, you may want to buy some. It's cute that the key to the room is a pentagon shaped like Goryokaku, but it's quite large and a little inconvenient to carry around...

I didn't stay there, but I used the cafe. All-you-can-drink coffee, cafe au lait, cocoa, etc. I was looking for ohagi, but I'm not sure if they were homemade or if they were frozen and thawed. And it's very small. The prepayment was 880 yen.

It was like renovating the second floor of a two-story commercial building, dividing it into small rooms, and turning it into a hotel. It's an interesting creation. I thought there were not enough supplies. There was no clock, no paper or ballpoint pen to take notes. Also, I was disappointed that the bed mat was so soft that I couldn't sleep on my back because it hurt my lower back. However, you can walk to Goryokaku, it's close to convenience stores and bus stops, and the 5,000 yen range is a good value for money.
