I used it for a day trip. This is an inn run by the Japan Secret Hot Springs Preservation Society, and is a quaint three-story wooden building. The hot spring water is sodium chloride cold mineral spring water, but the hot spring ingredients are so concentrated that it clings to your skin.

My hometown is Niigata, but I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't know there was such a wonderful inn...!Anyway, it's very atmospheric and I can only say it best. The building, the garden, the baths, the food, everything is perfect.I stayed in June, and I had a wonderful time watching natural fireflies in the bamboo forest on the premises. For dinner, I had carp wash for the first time. The meat is plump and has no muddy smell, and goes well with vinegared miso. There are small bones so you need to be careful.Breakfast is hot spring porridge cooked in the hot spring source...! ! I love this!It had just the right amount of saltiness, and I couldn't help but order another refill. You may either like or dislike the roasted green tea boiled in the hot spring in the lobby. We took advantage of the Himesayuri plan, which included a three-board check-out at 13:30, and for lunch I had soba noodles and my husband udon noodles, and we were able to relax as if we were in a mini-hot springs spa.It was very convenient to be able to check the usage status of the separate private bath on my smartphone. After taking a bath, I connected my smartphone to the Bluetooth speaker and played my favorite sounds while looking at the mountain and relaxing in a massage chair...it was the most luxurious time. Not everything is old, and I felt that they had tried to incorporate new things so that I could spend a comfortable time. This is an inn you'll want to visit again and again throughout the seasons.
