I stayed with a friend in June 2023.I asked for an updated version of the dishes without knowing how many dishes there were originally.As a result, I felt like I was eating dinner and breakfast by myself, which felt like two more servings.It was close to the fishing port and the sashimi was delicious...The building itself is bordered by private houses on both sides, has only one bath, and unlike today's inn, the guest rooms are older, and you can hear the sounds of life in the neighborhood more than you expected.Himi's Manga Road is also nearby, so I think it's perfect for those who want to eat Tarafuku after sightseeing and get a good night's rest until morning.

I think the location is good as it is close to the roadside station. As the reviews say, the food is also amazing.But the customer service is a bit...Check-in is late from 16:00, but since it's summer and you want to sweat, the baths are only available from 17:00. There are people who come in from 17:00. They tell me when the person in front of me has left, but when I go there, I find it's not there yet, which makes me feel awkward, and I feel like it's rude to the person in front of me when I say, ``I'll be leaving soon.'' They won't give you bath towels unless you ask.While I was having breakfast, my child went to the bathroom with my husband, and I thought it might be over, so he came in and cleaned up the dishes, so I told him I was still going to eat in the bathroom, but the next person was starting at 8:00, so...it was still 30. It only takes a minute! I was rushed.

Thank you for your help from May 31st to June 1st.I was staying alone, but the owner and landlady took good care of me, and I was able to spend a comfortable time.The food was so delicious and we had so many different dishes that it was hard to finish all of them😁I was able to eat the freshly prepared food while being given various explanations, so I was very satisfied.It was an inn that I would definitely like to stay at again.

It's amazing to be able to eat such delicious food at this price. . There were many dishes that really showed the service spirit of the owner. This is in contrast to today's inns and restaurants, which are expensive, not very tasty, and are stingy with quantity. I can't say that the facilities are good, but it's a guesthouse that excels in food. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know.

I visited with two adults. They gave me a ride from Himi Station to the inn, and even though it was dark, they gave me directions along the way.I chose this ryokan because the reviews for the food were pretty good, but the food was not only as good as I expected, but even better. We had a wide variety of dishes, including sashimi, firefly squid in vinegar, fried flounder, and seafood hotpot. Of course, all of them are delicious. The fried flounder, which you could eat down to the bone, and the Himi Buri sashimi were especially delicious. If you don't finish the sashimi for dinner, you can pickle it and serve it for breakfast the next morning. The sashimi is really delicious, but you can serve more than you can eat of other dishes, so we recommend leaving some for the next morning. The pickled sashimi the next morning was also really delicious.The room was large enough for two people and we were able to relax. There are baths at the inn, but you can also get a discount at a hot spring facility just a short walk away. You need to be back by 10pm, when the doors of the inn are locked, so if you want to relax in the hot springs, it's a good idea to eat and check in early. The washrooms and restrooms are shared, but they have been renovated so there is no inconvenience. A toothbrush set and a small towel are also provided in each room.As other reviews have said, this is a ryokan with really great food. It is also close to tourist spots in Himi, making it convenient for sightseeing after your stay. There are buildings in the surrounding area that were damaged by the earthquake, and I'm sure this inn was also affected, but we were warmly welcomed from the beginning to the end and it became a very fond memory. thank you. This is a ryokan that will make you want to go to Himi again.

My impressions are that the room, futon, and food were super delicious❗️ For dinner, there was a lot of fish and I was full.I completely understand your husband's desire to eat when it's warm. It was very delicious❗️However, when I took a bath, the inside of the bath was so slimy that it made me feel uncomfortable.Also, my husband and I would like to thank you for your greetings. It was my first trip to Hokuriku after starting a family.We thoroughly enjoyed the fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan.The fresh sashimi was naturally delicious, and the fried flounder was an exquisite dish that can only be tasted here.I will visit you again when I visit Hokuriku.

The seafood dinner was very delicious and plentiful. High quality for less than 10,000 yen. I stayed alone, so this amount of sashimi in the photo is for one person. Also, both the husband and his wife were gentle and kind people. The building is old and the guest room is from the Showa era, so I personally felt comfortable. The parking lot is located about 2 houses away and can accommodate 20 cars. The bath is a family bath and is not large. It's okay to go there to enjoy the meal! I didn't see any convenience stores, supermarkets, or bars nearby. In addition, there is a hot spring facility called Soyu and a commercial facility a little further down the road.

For dinner, the sashimi and yellowtail shabu are both delicious. I was satisfied with the fried flounder with dashi soup and I was able to eat it all the way down to the bone. The firefly squid okizuke was homemade and good. I was also told to put chopsticks on the grilled yellowtail immediately. That's right. I couldn't eat all of it, so I had the sashimi marinated the next morning.

I think your evaluation will vary depending on what you are looking for in an accommodation.I was looking forward to eating some delicious food since I heard that the food was well-received. To be honest, my friend who was with me praised the food quite a bit, so I had high hurdles to overcome, but it was an exquisite dish that easily surpassed it.I think people who want to make a fuss with a group of people or people who expect service like an expensive hotel will be disappointed. I don't think that's the case here.

Because there were only two people, I was reluctant to pick up and drop off even though the website said pick up and drop off was possible.I arrived at my accommodation after walking 2km from the station, but the landlady gave me a sly smile when I entered the room at 4am, killing even more time before checking in.Even though I was tired and needed some rest, I was told to take a bath as soon as I entered the room, but there wasn't even a bath towel in the room, the bathroom bath mat was sticky, and the room was full of mold, making it uncomfortable.The cups in the bathroom were also made of plastic, which was unbearable in this day and age.I think women especially feel this way.Moreover, the air conditioner in the room did not even blow any warm air until morning, and the bedding was thin and cold.The selling point of this inn is probably the food, but I felt that this inn would only be suitable for big eaters who are tired of the large amount of fish in a pot and the taste of boiled fish that doesn't taste as good as the same fish.Considering that it is a guest house, there are more decent accommodations.One star is appropriate for this inn as it pales in comparison to similar inns.The hospitality is severely lacking and you cannot use the cage or money, so I cannot recommend it.

The room and bathroom are old, but the deliciousness of the food more than makes up for it!!! The volume is perfect.You can leave the sashimi for dinner and pickle it and have it served the next morning!The simmered cod roe was also delicious!!!

My mother is a descendant of Ikedaya. In other words, I am also a descendant of Ikedaya. When my mother got married, she took on a different surname, and when I was born, her maiden name was Ikeda. I'd like to visit this inn, but there are rumors that it's now a pub? i am sad. Descendants who fled to Edo placed their tombstones and bones at Shounji Temple in Ikebukuro. So, the grave of Ikedaya!! It's ️.
