The rice was very delicious! There were a lot of exquisitely nostalgic manga from the 80s and 90s. We recommend it because you can spend a relaxing time here. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality.

When I was on a trip to Niigata and Nagano, I dropped it off on my way home. The inn is located on the prefectural border between Gifu and Toyama prefectures, Hikoshi. I parked my car on the roadside in front of the hotel and checked in. The room was a Japanese-style room with a washroom, and from the window I could see the Shogawa River surrounded by trees, so I could relax. Although the toilet was shared, it was clean and tidy and there were no problems. The bath is a cypress-style bath, but it's not big, so I think it's best to take a bath by yourself. I went there after visiting Kuroba Onsen, a nearby day-trip hot spring facility, so I only had to sweat a little. We had our meals in the dining room both in the morning and in the evening. For dinner, we had a daily set menu of delicacies from the mountains and sea, and all of them were delicious, including sea bream with kelp, salt-grilled rock fish, tempura, hard tofu steak, and pork grilled on a ceramic platter. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal, and there were a lot of items, so I was completely satisfied. The next morning, we went to Shirakawa-go, took a shuttle bus (200 yen one way) to the observation deck, and enjoyed the view of the gassho-zukuri style. Since last fall, you can no longer drive to the observatory, so there seems to be a long line for the shuttle bus. If you take the first train at 9am, the observation deck will not be crowded, so you can easily take photos. It's close to Shirakawa-go and convenient for sightseeing, so if I have a chance I'll come back here again.

A couple in their fifties stayed here for one night. The interior and exterior of the hotel were much nicer and cleaner than I expected. The toilets and washrooms are shared, but I was able to use them without feeling uncomfortable, probably because they were kept so clean. As for the food, I was very satisfied with the variety of dishes for both dinner and breakfast. The Hida beef was especially delicious! is.The bath was almost reserved as there were not many other guests coming and going, so I was able to enjoy the view from the window while soaking in the bath. The room was a Japanese-style room with clean tatami mats, clean futons, no unpleasant smells, and no insects. (Season is May 3rd)In particular, the comforter was light and voluminous, so I was able to sleep comfortably.Lastly, the most noteworthy thing about this inn is the beauty of the hallways!

The rice was really delicious. At a ryokan, you can't eat all the rice in a bowl, so it's a hell of a bowl, but the kamameshi was just right. The room is also clean. The hallway is shiny. If I have a chance, I will repeat it.
