I felt like I had a pleasant stay in a Japanese home. The cheerful owner is good at telling jokes and speaks English well. I stayed there last week. In the evening, I had a drink at a nearby restaurant, then returned home unsteady and stayed the night. The Canadian host spoke English and broken Japanese, but I managed to understand him. In the morning, I had 4 pancakes, coffee, fruit juice, and blueberries for breakfast.I was hungover and thought I wouldn't be able to finish it, but I managed to finish it. One room costs 8,000 yen, so it's better to stay for two people if possible. It was said that 60% of the guests would be Japanese and the rest would be from overseas. The husband seems to like to talk, so I think it would be a good way to experience real English. Parking is free and can accommodate 2-3 cars. There are no restaurants nearby, but the townscape from the Kitamaebune era remains, and you can enjoy a stroll.

Ideal for backpackers wanting to explore tranquil Toyama. The bed and breakfast is in the middle of the old Iwase district and is run by a Canadian and his Japanese wife. Lots of good tips for exploring the area and really tasty pancakes for breakfast. You feel like you're visiting friends.
