2024/08/14 Use of tent site¥1,100 PokkiriIt was empty and there were no other tents in sight.Some people were accompanied by dogs🐕There is a distance uphill to the toilet and shower, but it is not particularly inconvenient.There are also places where you can park your car, which is convenient~✨Broadcasts will be broadcast at 17:00 and 7:00 ∑(ﾟДﾟ)This is a campsite that uses terraced fields.Thanks to the trees growing on each tier, it wasn't too hot even in midsummer.It gets cold in the middle of the night wearing short sleeves and short pants.It's perfect to sleep with a sleeping bag over the top.The shower room is next to the toiletThere is a power source in the changing room, which is about half a tatami mat, and is separated by a curtain.The person in front of me left the dressing room (flooring) wet, so I wiped it down a bit.There were towels provided, but I didn't use them because I didn't know what they were used for.A washing machine and detergent are also available.The hot water came out properly, so there's nothing to complain about.There are 1 Western style tray and 1 Japanese style tray for women.When I used it, I put 100 yen in it.Is money optional?It's in a remote location, but other than that it was very good

I rented a cottage and stayed there. It was large enough for 7 people.The manager is kind, and we have no trouble disposing of trash.The cottage had almost all the supplies.There are cooking utensils, plates, cups, cutlery, detergent sponges, etc. in the refrigerator.The knife is a Seki Magoroku, but it didn't cut well.There is no air conditioning, but even in the summer there was a breeze and it was cool.There aren't many barbecue spaces near the cottage due to the slope, but there was a flat open space a little further away.I went to Shirakimine the next day, but during the season, there is only one lane of traffic, and cars come in the morning or early in the morning to go to the toilet or fetch water, so the engine noise might be a bit bothersome.

I used it for motorcycle touring in August 2022.This is a beautiful, well-maintained campsite.The response from the manager is also good.I stayed in a bungalow.There is no screen door, but it's not a problem because we're at a high altitude and it's cool at night.However, insects come in when you go in and out, so you need to take measures against insects.As for the communication environment, the NTT line was outside the prefecture and the au line was slow but somehow usable.If you need a communication environment, it is a good idea to prepare a SIM for an au line such as Povo.I used it as a base for touring,Route 471 is narrow on the south side of the campsite (the route heading towards Hida Takayama) and has a lot of moss and gravel, and there are oncoming cars.Additionally, several other roads around the campground were closed during the day.When using it for touring, it is a good idea to check the surrounding road conditions and plan your route in advance, rather than relying on Google Maps.

I drove along the forest road that led to Shirakimine and happened to find a campsite. The forest road is closed due to a landslide. It seems like you can't even walk there.

When I used it, it was the time of autumn leaves. The scenery is very nice, and in addition to burning garbage and bottles, there is also a place to dispose of ash and gas cans after a bonfire, so you can feel good until the end. The managers were also very easy to talk to and kind.

The site was flat and spacious, with carefully mowed grass.It's inconvenient that the restroom is only on the upper level where the administration building is, and the parking lot is on the bottom level, but the hot springs are relatively close, and it's a campground I'd like to visit again.Also, the manager's family was very nice.

A hidden gem. There are few people and there is plenty of nature, which is very nice. It is also convenient for climbing Shirakimine. The toilets flush, but unfortunately they are Japanese style.

Visited at the beginning of May 2019 to approach Shirakigamine.Due to the disaster, the approach by car was limited to the campsite, and it took more than 2 hours on foot to reach the toilet at the trailhead (paved road).I thought it was time to head into the mountains, but beyond the first forest road crossing, it was snowing heavily. It fills the road for about 20 meters in the shape of a slide, and if you slip, it feels like you'll go straight to the cliff. I gave up and went back to the bathroom, ate some food, and headed home.

I inquired about using the campground, but was told it would be closed in mid-November. It seems that next season will restart around Golden Week.
