I stayed at Kamome last summer.Please understand that each person has their own perspective regarding accommodation, and this may not apply to everyone.As for the price, it is certainly on the expensive side for a room without meals.I just want to spend time relaxing and not thinking about anything! This accommodation is recommended for such people.The interior is very clean and you can hear the faint sound of the river flowing at night. It was only one night, but it was quite relaxing. I wanted to stay a little longer.The okonomiyaki restaurant next door is very delicious, so I think it would be a good idea to let those who want to use it know in advance.Although the shopping street is deserted, there are some delicious side dishes and fish shops a little further away. Please check the opening hours as they are limited.If you look at the tourist guide photos and personal posts of the area around Uchikawa, the photos look pretty good, but the reality is a little different. I get the feeling that it's too much.

There are stylish old houses and modernly renovated houses, there is a delicious sushi restaurant nearby, and the townscape is very atmospheric, so I would like to come back again.The price is high, but I can't help but feel like I'll be able to get sap right in front of me.

We have the most enjoyable experience staying at the MINKA. At first, we chose the hotel because, unlike other hotels in Japan, it has a sizeable kitchen where you can have a chance to cook fresh food bought in the local supermarkets. As we have never been to Toyama before, it would be a great chance to explore the prefecture.It later turned out the hotel has everything travellers will be looking for. It provides seasonal seafood directly delivered by the local fishermen. The delivery plan is generally customised by guests, and we had the best, freshest Amberjack sashimi there.The hotel is very neat and clean, you can actually see how much effort they made to keep the place as comfortable as possible for guests. As it is a renovated house which has a historical value, please take good care of their facilities.The hotel is located immediately on the riverside, and when the weather is nice, you can see the snow mountains just outside the hotel. The scenery is breathtaking.One more reason which makes our stay even more unforgettable is that, the hotel staffs give you the warmest and sincerest feelings. They took care of everything so neatly and simply talking to them will brighten your days. Therefore, we want to take this chance to thank them.Hope everyone will also have their great experience staying at this hotel!
