The guesthouse was as to be expected, simple, rustic and typical for a Japanese-style place. But the owner made most of this review positive. She was kind, attentive but not overbearing. She also went out of her way to make us all a nice breakfast in the morning. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking for some quiet accommodation—and the view from the backyard in the early morning is stunning. 🤩

We spent 2 nights in this wonderful accommodation. We felt at home, the hostess is very nice and helped us with everything we needed. The area is also very beautiful, so you can take great long walks and go to the nearby onsen.Anyone going to the Japanese Alps should stay here!

Any tourist looking to stay in the Japanese alps close to Kanazawa should look here. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The scenery is fantastic. There are good restaurants nearby and breakfast can be provided if you pay for it. The woman who runs the place is wonderful. She is very friendly and speaks good English. She went out of her way to help us. Accommodations can be made for guests who want a more western style experience. Aircon and WiFi are provided.
