Evening meal 🍽️ You can bring your own 👌It can be used for the sink, dishes, and shared use. There is also a room where you can bring in your own meals, and the bathroom has just one shower, but it has been renovated and is beautiful. When sleeping in bed, please be quiet as the shared space is completely covered with curtains. You can have the experience of "sleeping" in a gassho-zukuri style, and at this price I definitely recommend it♪

I arrived here on an early day of the year, with snow still falling. Starting from Toyama on this old train, I felt like I was traveling back in time. Then I took the 100-yen bus, and Kazura was the final stop. Situated halfway up the hill, facing the lake and mountains, Kazura offers a stunning view. The staff were also very kind, sharing stories about the house and their lives. We chatted by the heater while watching the snow fall. I will always remember this, keeping it as a beautiful memory, and I will come back. Love you, Kazura.

Best hostel/hotel of our 7 month trip around the world. The magnificent building, the attention paid to details, the incredible welcome and the calm of the place, the cleanliness and private spaces in the dormitory, the great kitchen, the common spaces, the instruments and games available, the local products on offer. sale (not for cooking).A jewel! In the surrounding area, incredible playground, magnificent lake and mountain villages a few km away (by bike but we do not recommend going through the tunnels)

* When I checked in on January 23, 2024, there happened to be an alarm-level heavy snow. As soon as I arrived at the B&B, I was shocked by the scenery in front of me. The gassho house shape, covered with thick white snow, and the bright lighting outside the house, really So beautiful* The owner of the B&B was very talkative and very nice. Because we were the only ones staying that day, we left at 6pm and went back to the mountain to stay. The owner assured us that the B&B would be handed over to us. The B&B provided a complete set of stoves and tableware. We drove there. We bought ingredients from a nearby supermarket and cooked dinner by ourselves. After dinner, we had a snowball fight outside, made a campfire, and sat at the floor-to-ceiling windows drinking coffee and admiring the falling snow outside.* After a heavy snowfall overnight, the snow was knee-deep the next morning, and our car was almost buried in the snow. All the scenery was so beautiful that we didn’t want to leave.* The Sakuraike Park below the B&B and the scenery after the heavy snow are even more amazing, don’t miss it.* This place is more suitable for self-driving. If you are lucky enough to encounter heavy snow like me, you will definitely have an unforgettable stay experience.
