I stayed here before the holidays. The origin of the name Kintaro seems to be that the first company president liked Kintaro, and it does not seem to have any origins in Kintaro. Now that the coronavirus is over, inbound tourism has become more intense, and there are fewer hot spring hotels where you can stay alone than before, so having a hot spring hotel where you can stay alone is a huge help. The room was a single room. Due to the structure of the room, I feel like I had no choice but to stay in a single room. The check-in process was in the lobby, not at the counter.Honestly, this is quite helpful. Even at high-end hotels, it's common to have to wait in line at the counter when checking in, so it's helpful to be able to check in while sitting in the lobby. The room has an outlet and USB next to the bed. There are outlets on and near the desk, which is helpful for people like me who carry their computers around. Some hotels don't have desks or outlets.Amenities are always provided in the room, so there is no need to take them from the amenity corner in front of the lobby, which is the current trend. Well, if you forget it, it's a bit troublesome to go back and get it.There are also tea and sweets in the room. Kintaro Awase-yaki is a sweet exclusively made for Kintaro Onsen. This sweet is made with a thin layer of red bean paste sandwiched between soft skin and is quite delicious. I ate the tea and sweets in the room and they were delicious, so I bought some as souvenirs. The hot springs are authentic hot springs where you can smell the sulfur as soon as you take a bath. There are two hot springs, one of which is Karuna's mansion where you can take a day trip. There is also a large open-air bath here. The other is an indoor bath exclusively for guests. Although it is for guests only, it is probably less popular than Karna's mansion because it only has an indoor bath, so it was always reserved for me when I was taking a bath. It's true that it's mediocre compared to Karna's mansion. It feels good to have a 40 tatami room all to yourself. You can even lie down completely naked (lol)Karna's House has 2 open-air baths, 5-6 indoor baths, and a sauna for ease of use. In front of the largest bathtub in the indoor bath, huge stones are lined up, and in the Jomon Yayoi era, there is a magnificent rock seat that could have been used to lower the gods, making it an impressive sight. There are also huge stones lined up in the open-air bath, and since it's on the 1st floor, I wasn't expecting a great view, but just looking at the lined up huge stones made me feel soothed by the extraordinary space. The facility is old in some places, but overall it has been thoroughly renovated. Like the inns of the Showa era, the hallways are randomly added on and look like a dungeon (lol)For dinner, choose a course meal. Although it is not full of Toyama's local cuisine, you can try some of Toyama's specialties. The food overall is of a high standard for hotel cuisine, and the beautiful utensils are used so it looks great in photos. When I eat, I can't eat without water, so I drink a lot of tea or water, but here, the tea is brought to me as soon as it's empty. You can't do it without checking each table one by one, so you can see how good the service is.Overall, the service was good, the food was delicious, and the hot springs were satisfying. I'll probably repeat it lol

I met up with five of my high school friends and talked. It was a memorable occasion and we had a great time in the spacious banquet hall.I made a lot of noise without hesitation, but it was a pleasant time.

Normally, even if you stay overnight, you only need to bathe in the hot springs once, but the hot springs here are so good that you'll want to bathe in them as many times as you like, so I went there three times in total! The food and service were excellent, and it was a place I would definitely come back to again!I'll come back later! ! !

Very good 👍 | Good sleep, hot spring ♨️ super comfortable, slightly salty, good for the skin, large outdoor and indoor spaces, and the indoor hot spring is open late. …
