I used it on a trip to Kamikochi. As the reviews said, I was impressed by how delicious the food was, made with plenty of ingredients from Shinshu. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot springs were great.Everyone at the inn was very kind and I was so glad I decided to stay here.I would like to use it again.

My husband and I used it before Golden Week. This pension located deep in the mountains is perfect for a relaxing stay.It was well-cleaned, and I felt that every piece of furniture, tableware, and accessories was made with care and attention to detail.hot spring. There are two private hot springs outside, and the room we used had a modern free-flowing hot spring bath, and it was so nice that we bathed in it many times.meal. French food at night, Japanese food in the morning. Both were very delicious and filling. I also like that I have a private room.Customer service. The owners were very friendly and the couple were smiling from beginning to end. This is a wonderful inn that lives up to everyone's reputation. I would like to use this inn again when traveling to Shinshu.

This is ridiculous, there are not enough stars on this google form for me to give Berg Haus! I would give them 100/10 if I could. ☺️Possibly the loveliest, most memorable stay I’ve had in Japan, including ryokans and hotels that were easily twice the price. Mandarin Oriental Tokyo has nothing on the hospitality, warmth and attention to detail that the hosts of this beautiful alberge bestowed on us. The owner (?) was kind and effusive although we barely speak Japanese, from the second we tramped in with our snow-drenched boots to the moment she walked us out and waved us goodbye from the driveway. She made us feel so welcome! The interior design is at once quaintly charming, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. I especially love how excited the owner is about chairs — there’s an Egg chair on the second floor! I would highly, highly recommend the room with the private onsen. Being able to sit in the hot bath and watch the snow fall outside was a magical experience. As for the food — I can’t even. The chef executes at the level of a restaurant I would pay good money for. Ingredient quality, technique and some degree of creativity were evident. The French onion soup was particularly memorable for me, featuring crusty golden bread submerged beneath the most generous layer of melted cheese I’ve ever beheld. Getting to sample so many dishes for breakfast was also a treat, especially the homemade goma tofu. All in all, a top-tier, memory-making experience. I can’t believe we were the only ones staying that night, Berg Haus is phenomenal! I cannot recommend them enough.

My husband and I are visiting from Chigasaki, Kanagawa.I learned about Berghaus 8 months ago and this is my third time staying here. The space, customer service, and hospitality are all at an impressive level, and the accommodation fee is really cheap...I would rather go to Berghaus for 5 hours than go to a fancy French restaurant.I want to eat the proprietress and her son's cooking again.I want to see you again, and I want to go again soon. This is truly the number one inn.The interior, furniture, and miscellaneous goods are really nice, and it's a very comfortable space.I will visit you again to receive more power, so thank you for your continued support.

My husband and I used it.The great outdoors that spreads out from the window, the relaxing private bath, and above all, the wonderful food you've never tasted before. I was very satisfied with everything, and both my husband and I had a great time smiling. Thank you for your bright and kind response.

I had heard good reviews, but the timing just wasn't right, so I finally decided to stay here. When I made a reservation, I called the inn, and the female owner was cheerful, kind, and pleasant! Expectations will naturally rise.I stayed one night in a room with a semi-open-air bath and a normal room. The normal rooms don't have baths, but there are two private baths, so I don't think you need to worry about it since it's a 6-room hotel. What is noteworthy is the food. I especially liked the breakfast very much. The dishes are filled with love, as if they were carefully prepared by a mother wishing for the health of her child. When I travel, I worry about not eating enough vegetables, but at this hotel, you don't have to worry about that.Of course, dinner is also wonderful. Each and every material is filled with the owner's love for Shinshu. I was also surprised to find rare wines. We stayed for 2 nights, and both days we had elaborate and delicious dishes. The hotel was originally opened by the owner's husband, a professional skier. He passed away a few years ago, and his wife is currently the owner. It's a pleasant experience, and my son is very supportive of his mother with the food and service.Although it is very homely, they do not rest on their laurels; they maintain the professionalism of a hotel staff and provide excellent service.I travel nearly 100 nights a year, and I feel like there are very few hotels that offer such a good balance in so many different ways. Or rather, isn't the price wrong? This is the level. Of course, it's a repeat purchase. The location is also good, close to the bus center to Tatamidaira.

My husband and I are sorry to bother you. A bath surrounded by nature, an interior that makes you feel like you're traveling abroad, a fluffy bed, a clean room that stays cool even without air conditioning, food made with plenty of local ingredients, and above all, kindness. A caring wife. All of this was the best hospitality. I fully understand why there are so many repeat customers. Thank you very much for creating such a luxurious and wonderful trip. We also had a wonderful time walking around the Norikura Highlands, which was recommended to us. I'm really thankful to you.

I stayed here for the first time in a while last year, and it's still a wonderful inn.The landlady has taken great care of the inn, and even if you look at the details, it has wonderful things and is made to be comfortable to spend time in. There is no better inn and landlady than Berghaus. The food is also really delicious. I will visit you every year (*^^*)
