On the second day of the three-day weekend, I went to Sakae-no-Yu, Asama Onsen, an inner parlor in Matsumoto.A retro Showa inn. It has been renovated in places to give it a retro style. The hot water was quite piping hot.The food is delicious😋It was a hot spring inn where Honoka Matsumoto was filmed~😄

The building is very old. The toilet is not in the room and is shared by both men and women. The hot spring is small, but sufficient. It was so hot that I couldn't get used to it.The food here was very delicious! You can eat in a private room, so you can relax.

The building is as others have said. The restrooms are clean, but I'm a little disappointed that they are co-ed. For women, the men's room is completely visible, and it is difficult to use it if someone else is inside. I would like to have separate doors and partitions for men and women. The bath is underground, so there are many stairs, and the bathtub is deep, making it difficult for the elderly and people with disabilities to use the hot springs. In particular, the bathtub we rented was surprisingly deep and it was difficult to get out of it.The hot spring source is located next to the inn and is 7m deep. No heating, water addition, or circulation. It was a little hot so I added some water. In other places, the source is often far away or deep, so the hot water is good.Hot water is available everywhere in Asama Onsen, and there are many accommodations. Can we discuss the price? I think the competition is fierce.Dinner and breakfast were served in a separate room from where I slept, and each dish was carefully seasoned and gently seasoned, and the portions were plentiful, so I was very satisfied. Everything is delicious.

I can say that this is my favorite inn.The outside and inside are old, but the way the flowers are decorated is casual and stylish. This is not an inn where you can enjoy the scenery. The view is not good at all. This is an inn where you can stay indoors and relax. There is no open-air hot spring, just a small indoor bath. The tiles in this bathtub have a nice atmosphere when you look at them, and the quality of the spring water is also excellent.

Good place for Showa lovers. It can't be helped that the parking lot is a little far because of the location.I thought it was boiled tofu for breakfast, but when I opened it, it was just normal miso soup (lol)

This is a hot spring inn located in Asama Onsen, Matsumoto City. It is located on the mountain side of Asama Onsen. The interior is nostalgic. The toilet is shared, but it has been updated with a washlet and is comfortable.Hot springs are good. The hot spring water is poured into a small bathtub, so you can enjoy the freshness of the water. The landlady was also kind.A reasonable accommodation fee of around 5,000 yen without meals.Below are the difficulties ↓The stairs are steep. There is no elevator, so if you have difficulty walking, it is best not to use it.
