[October 2024]This is a so-called business hotel of a national chain.Although you can become a member through a dedicated app, there is no "early check-in" (allowing you to check in earlier than usual) that many other hotel chains have. The normal check-in time here is 15:00, which is the same as almost all hotels, but many hotels allow you to check-in at 14:00 as a member benefit. For business use such as business trips, 3:00 p.m. is perfectly acceptable, but as a tourist, I would like to arrive at a destination, have lunch, and then take a rest at a hotel. It's too late at 15:00.Route Inn is so specialized in business hotels that it completely lacks the perspective of tourists. If the management policy is that they only care about business customers, then that's out of the question, but if that's not the case, then you should consider this.Furthermore, in the past, Route Inn hotels used to have good breakfasts, large public baths, and other features that differentiated them, but these days, many hotels that offer very good breakfasts have appeared, and these days, The breakfast buffet, which is the same at every store and doesn't offer any specialties or specialties, is becoming less popular among its competitors.I think Route Inn, which has already expanded into many regions, has the potential to make a big leap forward with a few more efforts.

This is a standard business hotel, and due to the surrounding high-rise buildings, there are no views of the landscape except for some rooms. However, there are no buildings in the northeast direction, so if you stay in a room on the upper floor of the northeast, and the weather is good, you can see a spectacular view of Mt. Kurobe Tateyama.

I took a walk in Takaoka in the morning. It was a fun and compact city with old-fashioned arcades, a morning market, and a large Buddha statue. I often go to Toyama and Kanazawa, but this was my first time in Takaoka.
