An absolute insider tip! A wonderful holiday apartment in a traditional style. You almost feel like you're in a ryokan. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He even picked us up from the train station. The kitchen is well equipped and there is even a kotatsu.

Good place to stay in Matsumoto Area, the owner is kind and very informative. He explained to us about everything there is to do and see around the city and took us in his car from the station and back. Very recommended. The owner speaks English. Very recommended!

We spend two days here during our japan roundtrip.The host was very friendly, engaging and commited to giving us good recommendations all around. We got tips for a bakery and a restaurant that were really nice. So i would definitly recommend you to stay here.

The rooms are well maintained and comfortable.It's a little far from Matsumoto Station, but they could pick me up by car, so I told them what time I was leaving and had them come to the rotary to pick me up.

The host is great, the place is comfortable and the kitchen inviting.In this place you get to meet the host a lot, since they live in the same house, which for us was fun.The only thing that makes this only a 4 star place is it's a bit far from Matsumoto station and even the closest JR station to the place is 20 minutes away.The host does drive you with the luggage on check in and out, so that's fine but going out and back each day could have been quicker and simpler if we stayed at a closer place.

Our host was amazing. He gave us plenty of good tips around matsumoto, Kamikochi etc. His house is really nice and convient. If you plan to stay around matsumoto do not hesitate to stay there! 😁
