1. The location is convenient and the accommodation price in peak season is more cost-effective than in Matsumoto2. There are free washing machines, dryers and simple kitchens3. The room is filled with the aroma of wood and has a strong Japanese architectural style

I visited in the sauna.I live in the Kanto area, but I don't see many wood-burning stove saunas, and the soft heat was very pleasant (it's rare in Tokyo, as it's only found in Karumaru Ikebukuro).You can freely enjoy the aromatic fragrance, and the space is large enough to lie down. I thought this was paradise.I think it would be an exaggeration to say that this sauna has made all the dreams of sauna lovers come true.There are two types of water baths, one in the 17℃ range and the other in the 20℃ range, so you can choose according to your preference. It's also nice that it's a Goemon bath type for one person only.Next to it is an open air bathing space. The forest in front provides shade, making it the perfect environment to feel cool despite the scorching sun. Local trains pass right in front of us, and it's fun to see them.Not only was the sauna environment excellent, but the customer service and service from the staff was also excellent. They paid attention to even the smallest details, and I thoroughly enjoyed the communication that can only be experienced while traveling.I think it can be said that 5,000 yen per person is cheap in a private sauna and in a comfortable environment. I think it's already quite popular, but I think it would be a problem if it became even more popular.

I used the inn to go to Kamikochi.For a guesthouse, there are plenty of amenities (personally, I'm glad that bath towels are free), so I was able to spend a very stress-free time.Being able to be the first to catch the early morning bus to Kamikochi was also appealing!I also went to the sauna, and I was impressed by the staff's attentiveness, such as taking precautions to repel insects while bathing in the outside air and serving drinks.I will visit again during the autumn leaves season!

Excellent place! The host is very friendly and kind. His place has a good vibe with a charming wooden look. It’s exactly what we were looking for before going into the mountains. We felt very welcome and we have a good time. Thanks for having us

If you want to catch the first train of the Matsumoto Electric Railway (Alpico Kotsu) Kamikochi Line, there is no other option than here.Since it is a relay point to Kamikochi, it is closed during the winter, but there is a slight lag between the period when you can't go to Kamikochi and the business period, so if you stay during the lag, you can enjoy a private stay. The rooms are spacious and have a nice feel, and I don't think you'll get tired of talking to the person who runs it.Besides, there is a convenience store nearby.

We loved this place. Used it as a base to hike in the Kamikochi area as the bus leaves practically in front of the door of the guesthouse. Owner is very friendly and helpful and the attached restaurant is very good. You can also spend a good afternoon resting in the common area or the sauna.
